Please scroll down once you have read this ;) for new posts!
Hello everyone!!
I have some lovely candy on offer for my loyal customers. If you order anything from me from now until the end of June, including either of my great value shares, I will enter your name into a raffle for this lovely and no longer available set of fantastic Stampin' Up! stamps!!
I have mounted them for you but they are brand new, this set is called 'Polka Dot Punches'

For every item you order from me in this qualifing period I will add a raffle ticket to the bowl, so, for example, if you order 7 items, all on one order or seperately, I will add 7 tickets to the draw for you! How cool is that?

Good Luck and have fun ;0)

Last few days, hurry and place your order for your chance to win this, now unavailable, set of lovely stamps.

A little treat for you

Morning all,
I hope the sun is shining on you today, it's rather grey and wet here unfortunately!! So much for a heatwave!! Lets hope it brightens up later.
Right onto today's project ....

I made some little covers for a choccy bar for the lovely ladies who came to my class on Saturday. I used Bashful Blue card with Summer Picnic papers. The little chocolate bars are from Aldi and, trust me, their chocolate is really yummy (may have tested it to be sure, glancing round innocently!)
Here is a side view to show how I scored the card to make the pocket, I just found the score line by flipping the bar along the card and marking with a pencil, then put it onto the scor pal. I cut a slot to hold the bar in place.
Old olive ribbon, which I didn't stick down so it can be re-used, sentiment from the level 1 hostess set "Best Wishes" small tag punch and Linen thread.
Here is a different view, also rapidly becoming known as the Arty Farty angle :0)
Have a good day and I will be back tomorrow with a mans card and the winner of my candy- you still have 'till the end of the day to enter ;0)

A Garden Scene

Morning all,
First of all, just a reminder, you only have 2 days left to enter my candy draw, scroll up for details ;0)
I have scheduled this post so hopefully you will be reading this in the sun and I will be at the dentist having a filling (aaaargh!!)
I have a card for you today which is for a friend who's birthday it is on Thursday, she loves her garden.
I have used the Washington Apple papers from the mini catalogue and the very sweet wellies from the Scene in the Garden stamp set (also from the mini), I have a class using this set in August if you would like to have a little play with it.

Sorry about the photos, I have played around with them but they are still not a great colour match for the real thing. I have also just realised this one is a bit on the wonky side ;0) I also used the stripey grosgrain ribbon (available in this share), scallop border punch, and straight and scalloped circle punches.
I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the Happy Birthday in a circle and to get the wellies in a straight line and evenly spaced. I then coloured the wellies with a blender pen and ink pads. I got the very pretty flower from the florist wholesalers last week when I went there to get a roll of cellophane, pretty aren't they?

I used the sentiment from "Crazy for Cupcakes" as is the Happy birthday on the front. Swirls are from "Yummy" which is no longer available. Let me know what ou think.
I hope your morning is better than mine will be ;0)

Bookmark for the beach..

Morning all,
Well, what a morning, the weather is obviously just perfect for my "Summer Fun" class tomorrow- NOT!!!! Love the British summer eh?! Never mind , I did manage to get the bookmarks made last night ready for my class on Saturday, I have use Summer picnic papers and Tart and Tangy stamps again :0)

Here I made the fab corner bookmarks in real red card and scalloped the bottom edge using the SU punch. I stamped the image all over the base card in versamark before sticking together, I inked up the stamp for the image with marker pens.

Here they are a bit closer. I didn't use any foam pads (shock horror!!) so they would sit comfortably in your book.

Well that's it folks, you have seen all the projects we will be making tomorrow lunch time, There is still a couple of places left for this class if you are interested please email me for further info.
Looking forward to seeing the lovely ladies tomorrow. Right, best get tidying up ready! lol!
Happy Friday,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
DON'T FORGET YOU ONLY HAVE A COUPLE MORE DAYS LEFT TO ORDER THROUGH ME TO QUALIFY FOR A TICKET(S) INTO MY CANDY DRAW :0)

Anyone for Lemonade?

Morning all,
Sorry I never managed to get this ready for yesterday, unfortunately I was waiting on some things from the postman and everything is just taking soooo long to get here just lately!! The stuff I was waiting on was posted last Friday!! Anyway, moan over! It is here now and I am really pleased with how this turned out!! This is another project for Saturdays "Summer Fun" class and without further adieu here it is.....

I have used a base card of so saffron, matted with certainly celery, so saffron again and then whisper white. I cut the cup shape from White Vellum Card stock which I then sponged, using a dauber, in Summer Sun Ink. The lemon is from the fantastic Tart and tangy and this has been inked with summer sun too.
Here are a couple of close ups for you to see, Sentiment from Cheers to you :0)
Circle punches also used for the lemons. All products used are Stampin' Up! (except the straw!!) and available through me, I can deliver anywhere in the country, email me for more information. If you would like to come to Saturdays class please let me know ASAP, I only have 2 spaces left though, so you had better hurry :0)
That's it for today, taking Zack on his second visit to his new school in 20 mins so better go and get ready! Have a good day,

A card for Sian using CCC sketch

Morning all,
What another lovely day :0) going to put my washing on the line then got a few things to do today. I hope some of you get to sit in the sun today.

Right on with it... I have a card I made for an order from hubby's work, it was for a pink and girly card for a 17 year old. this is what I came up with using this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenges sketch, what a lovely sketch this is too! it will definitely be used again!
I used the papers and textured card from the SU! simply scrappin' "Love Stories" kit, love the colours from this one.
I coloured in this Leanne Ellis stamp (Blossom) with my pro markers and added some dew drops and pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon. A little glossy accents on some of the flowers.

Here s a close up of the image, name is Die cut from the same card and I decorated the inside a little too using the circle punches and "Circle of Friendship" stamps.
That's all for today :0)
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for another sneek peek at Saturdays class projects.

Saturday sneek peek

Morning all,
Lovely to see the sun back today, we had a lovely time yesterday with Peppa Pig, I hope all the dads out there enjoyed their day too ;0)
Today I have another sneaky peek at one of the cards we will be making at Saturdays Summer Fun class. There are only a couple of places left now so if you are interested in coming please get in touch ASAP, details in the side bar.

I have used certainly celery card to make today's Ice lolly card and I think it is absolutely darling! I love it and thing it would be great for a kids birthday or even as party invitations!
Also used were the fab Tart and Tangy stamps which, by the way, are a fantastic value stamp set! certainly celery grosgrain ribbon, sentiment from the Crazy for cupcake set. Scallop circle & 1+1/4 & 1+3/8 circle punches.
Here are a couple of close ups
The ribbon keeps the card closed and I have also added the same image inside.
I have another little something to show you today too, My friend Elaine LOVES chocolate raisins and when I saw these I just had to buy them for her but instead of just giving them to her I wanted to make a small box to put them in, This is what I came up with...

I have used tempting turquoise card with one of the level 1 hostess stamps, from the set "A Little Bit of Happiness" available to earn for FREE if you hold a workshop, contact me for further information. I coloured it in using the brill blender pens and my markers and as the images are small you don't flood them like you would when using a water brush. I matted onto Pixie Pink card and added some card candy across the bottom to finish.
That's all for today, we are going to Zacks new school today for an hour this afternoon, he is very excited! I hope you all have a lovey rest of the day.
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Happy Fathers Day !!!

Morning all,
Hope all is well with you, We did breakfast in bed for Neil this morning, I knocked up some scotch pancakes for him and we all sat on the bed and shared them! This has become a bit of a tradition in our house. What did you guys do?
Anyway onto today's card...I have got the Fathers Day card I made for FIL to share with you . I have used the papers which Siobhan sent us for our challenge for this one, loving these papers! I used a Penny Black image tho as he isn't into Golf or Fishing and those were the images which were included in the kit originally. I will use these another day :0) Forgot to say I used this weeks mojo sketch for this card.
Isn't this dog sweet? I coloured him using pro markers and inked all the edges with distress ink to give a vintage feel to the card. Ribbon was also from Siobhan.
I also used the oval all stamps and matching punches (love these in case you hadn't noticed!!) The Happy Fathers Day inside is from the very handy Occasional Greetings set.

Last of all I thought I would share with you the card my kids made for their dad! L-R Josh, Zack and Zoe. All made on their own helped only by each other (Zoe is a dab hand with the cuttlebug!! )

Well that's all folks! Hope you have a nice rest of the day, we are off out to Paultons as Peppa Pig is there this weekend and she is Zack's absolute favourite! Will share some photos with you soon,

Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Do not look Elaine!!!!

Afternoon folks,
Welcome to a picture fest! I seem to have got a bit carried away with the ole' camera today ;0)
First of all I have a quick picture of all the boxes I finished yesterday for Zacks pre-scool teachers, I also went to the sweet shop as I was not happy with the colour coordination of the sweets from yesterday! I know sad isn't it? don't you feel sorry for me? rofl!!!!

Next set of photos are regarding my lovely SU! sister Elaine (go pay her a visit she will be thrilled) She has requested one of my Hodgepodge and ribbon shares (still a couple left) so I made a box for the hardware to go in and a topper for the ribbon to say "Thanks" using rose red card and the gorgeous A Rose is a Rose set (and sincere salutations for the sentiment on the topper) Don't forget Elaine gets a TICKET INTO THE CANDY DRAW ON 1ST JULY. One ticket per item ordered untill the end of June. Contact me for more details, email in side bar.
Here is the share in it's box :0)
And both together....
Next up is a picture of the raffle prize for Zoe's school, {poor love is poorly today,} all wrapped in cellophane with a lovely bow (which I cheated and bought from the local florist!!) I think it turned out well once it was all finished I just hope the lucky winner likes it ;0)

Last of all did you notice anything new in the set of photos with the hardware share? No? go back and look again!! lol! Well, my good friend Ruby (go check out her blog she is very talented) sent me this lovely mini easel this week, I am so thrilled, Thank-You so much Ruby, I love it!*mwah* xxx

Anyway that's enough from me for today, Thanks for sticking with me for all these photos ;0) Hope you all have a fab weekend and "Happy Fathers Day" to all you men out there xx
Take care, Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Pre-school teachers gifts

Morning all,
Sorry for the lack of post yesterday but I was busy, honest!
I have been working on this project for the teachers at Zacks pre-school...

I have quickly finished one of these so I have something to share with you today, I still have the other 6 to finish!!! I am also waiting on an order of clear bags to put the sweets into so it will be a little more polished than this when I give them to Zacks teachers!! I will share a photo of them all together when they are done and also one with the bag when it gets here ;0)
I have used my favourite set Crazy for cupcakes for these little round top boxes, template found here, I water-coloured the cakes with my blender pen, these are great for detailed water-colouring, with my inkpads in Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa, Basic Grey for the stand and Real Red for the cherry on the top :0)
Now, I know the card isn't an exact match but, like I have been saying, I am trying to use up my old stash of card, (Then I can get the lovely matching card from SU!) I also used Sweet Always DSP (Available in the Share) Regal Rose 5/8" and Very Vanilla 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Oval All sentiment stamps with matching punches and my nesties.
Right must go and finish the rest! lol!
Have a lovely day,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Raffle Prize

Morning folks,
Well the sun is shining here again today, long may it last this time !!
Right this is going to be a long post because I have loads of pictures for you. Zoe's school asked for prizes for the summer fayre raffle, so am giving them a Stampin' Up! one, I really hope a crafter wins this or it will be a bit rubbish for them, IYKWIM!! A crafter on the other hand, I think, would really like it...What do you think?? {Please do let me know as I haven't given it to them yet and if you think I may have missed something I can add it ;0)}

Here is the basket with everything in it ;0) I will wrap in celophane before I give it to them.
First of all I made this card to put the £10 Gift voucher in, I kept it quite simple, the 3 cherries on the front reminded me of a one armed bandit! Jackpot!!!!

These two packets are card candy, a set of strawberry toppers and some sentiments, both have a dimensional on the back ready to peel and stick, I also added a list of ingredients in the packet-so if they want to use their voucher to buy any of the components they know which to look for and in which catalogue. {Tart and tangy, oval all with matching punches}
This is just a little pot of felt flowers, buttons and linen thread.

A tube of choc raisins to keep you going whilst looking through the catalogue! A selection of DSP.
A wish list, some information about my monthly classes and a selection of Ribbons.
Most importantly the main and mini catalogue!!

Phew, I do hope you aren't asleep! This is what I have been working on this weekend and although it looks simple I have spent hours agonising the little details {like how to word the gift voucher!} I hope you likey!
Don't forget I have my own little raffle for everyone who purchases through me until the end of June and I still have a couple of paper shares left at the bargain price of £15. Scroll up for details.
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
