Big thanks, little card ;-)

Hello there,
I needed a few quick thank-you cards the other day and so I have a super little card in an unusual (for me) colourway, but I do likey!
Crumb Cake base with Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight scalloped border and Melon Mambo spotted ribbon, Trendy Trees stamp set was used, this one hasn't seen ink for a while!
I stamped Outlined Occasions inside and coloured it in with my Versamark pen again, I love this look ;-)
and all three together
Quick post from me tonight, I'm off to work in a bit but I will be back tomorrow with a special card and a mini tutorial too!
Thanks for visiting,
Stampin' Hugs for today,

New Virtual Stamp Club starting in April

**STICKY POST, SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW IDEAS**
**Just ONE place left, message me now to join this exclusive club!**
Hello there,
I would like to tell you today about the virtual stamp club which will be starting in April. This is a 6 month club where you spend £25 (plus post) each month and for one of those months you will be the hostess and receive all the the hostess benefits which will be at least £25 "hostess pounds" without ever having to have a workshop (unless you want to of course!)
So, a few details:
What are "Hostess Pounds"? Well, "Hostess Pounds" are brilliant because they are exclusive for workshop hosts (which you will be one of the months) they can be used on pages 8-12, where you will get the BEST VALUE for your hostess pounds, these exclusive products are only available to purchase with the hostess pounds, you can also spend your hostess pounds any where in any current catalogue too of course.
I will obviously send you a hard copy of the catalogue when you join.
To view the catalogues now go HERE and the mini HERE
So, why should you join my club? Clubs are a brilliant way to build up your SU! supplies and have the added bonus of receiving the hostess benefits one of the months (or more if you take more slots!) In addition to this I run a club access only blog where I post a card for inspiration each month, sometimes with a little tutorial (if needed) and in your parcel I will add the kit for this card too, just as is you have been to a workshop with me, I have the last 2 months cards to share with you today as I don't think I did already? ;-)
January's club card ready for Valentines day
Glimmer paper, so great as the glitter doesn't come off!
and February's with shimmer scrunched flowers using SAB papers
this month I added a tube of shimmer spray too
So, if you would like to be a part of this fab club then please message me and I will add you to the list, hurry places are filling fast though!

Thank-You

Hello there,
It's going to be a lovely day again by the look of it and I already have a couple of loads of washing on the line! Shame I have indoors stuff to do today ;-)
I was playing around with a cleaner look the other day, and I love Borderlines for this, and I made this little thank-you card
Borderlines stamped in Wild Wasabi with Melon Mambo itty bitty flowers, great little punches!
and curly cute for the sentiment, now it wasn't meant to be on a banner, but I was trying to be a bit clever and not use a stamp-a ma-jig so it ended up wonky! hence the lil' banner ;-)
Well, that's me for today, I hope you have enjoyed your visit today, thanks for stopping by!

Pop Out Card Tutorial

Hello!
First warning, VERY picture heavy post, you may well need a cuppa for this one!
Well, here I am finally with the tutorial to make this card! Again, I must say this is NOT my idea, I have just changed the measurements from inches to centimetres as I couldn't do it in inches ;-) HERE is the original and brilliant tutorial with a video too but I do hope that my centimetre version is a help to somebody. Just for info, this card also fits in SU! square envelopes too ;-)
So, to begin, cut your 12"x12" DSP down to 30cm x 24cm
score along the 30cm side at 3,9, 21 and 27cm
score the shorter 24cm side at 6cm and 18cm
fold in along the 30cm side as shown here,
 unfold again
and then fold in the two score lines along the 24cm side
Unfold again and trim off the points diagonally along the corner scored rectangles
Fold back in as you did at first
then fold up at the bottom
and then the top comes down too
 take a corner like so
and fold the top free corner down to the centre, do this on both sides to make a point, repeat at the top also
once creased unfold to get this shape
 take a corner...
OK this is where it gets tricky to explain! Push this point in to make a box shape
and fold the sticky out corner around the box
 like this!
repeat the other end to meet under where the flap is
and fold down the flap to secure, no adhesive needed
This is what you should have now which stands like this
Take a piece of thick card (I used the backing card from SU! DSP) and cut it to 19cm x 1.5cm, score at 6cm and 15cm
 fold to make a "Z"
and adhere inside as shown (not the other way up like I did at first!)
take an 11cm square piece of Very Vanilla card and write your message now, then adhere it inside the box
add decoration to the pop up "Z"  I used the new 2+3-8" scallop circle and Four Frames stamps with matching punch
to close fold the pop up in like so
and when it stands the point holds it up too
to make the belly band take a 4cm x 26.5cm piece of soft suede card
Hold the end, slightly overlapping the gap at the front, and bend it around the box
add a dab of glue and adhere to make the band
add a topper to cover the seam
 and the card is finished!
PHEW!! That was a long one wasn't it!!
I hope you stuck it out and it was useful to you perhaps?
Thanks for visiting, I'm off for a cuppa in the sun now!
Happy stampin' to you today :-)
