Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings

Good Afternoon,
I am running really behind today, I have only today finished all the jobs I have to do ready for SU! training in Reading tomorrow, I am sooo excited about meeting up with so many wonderful demonstrators I have met through SU! Lots of us live a fair way apart and only get to meet up and chat, (a lot!) at events so once or twice a year :-)
So, onto my third card from next weeks Stamp-a-Stack, we will be using the woodgrain background stamp with beautiful wings embosslit die with a sneak peek at a new product too...
I stamped the frame from four frames and cut it out so that when I punched the solid layer it gave a nice layered frame :-) Sentiment is from Party This Way.
I still have just a couple of places left for this class, message me to come along and join us :-D

Stampin' Up! Wedding Wishes

Hello there today!
I have the first card we will be making in next weeks Stamp-a-Stack and you guessed it, we will be using Wedding Sweet, another stamp set that is new to me ;-) I have gone for a classic Crumb Cake and Pool Party for the colour combo, love it. I have also left off the sentiment from my sample so any could be added, I think this will make a great birthday card for any girl ;-) or perhaps a congratulations for a Wedding or Anniversary too...
We will also be adding a little bit of obligatory Bling for good measure
So, that's card Number One, back tomorrow with a masculine card we will be making.
If you would like to join us at this class it is running next Mon, Tues and Wed (30th, 1st and 2nd)
Email me to reserve a spot

Stampin' Up! Perfect Postage

Good (wet) morning!
It's really rubbish here again today so it look as though I will be finishing off my swaps ready for SU! Regional Training in Reading this Saturday :-)
But first I have a card which uses lots of Spring Mini products which will be going next Monday, remember to get your order to me if there is anything in there you "need" (Cupcake punch would be my hot pick!)
Anyway, no cupcake punch on today's Thank-You cards ;-)
Perfect Postage stamp set, Blossom Party Die (heart) Spice Cake DSP, Borderlines (heart) all going at the end of the week :-(
Image was punched out with the 1+1/4" circle punch and mounted it onto the Giant Buttons, also from the Spring mini, it's a Spring Mini Fest today!!!
Choc Chip button don't they make great frames?
and the flower behind is made with the Blossom Party Die

Love this thanks, from Thank-You kindly set and punched with the Decorative label punch
and some of them all together
I hope you like today's cards? I will be back tomorrow with the first of next weeks stamp-a-stack cards, message me if you would like to join us :-)
But if you would like to order anything from the Spring Mini then please get in touch asap :-)

Stampin' Up Watercolour Technique

Hello there,
Today I have a technique that I saw on the very talented Betsy Veldman's blog where she shared a watercolour technique where by you heat emboss your image onto watercolour paper, ink it up with a sponge, I did it quite randomly, and then spritz it generously with water before leaving to dry. HERE is Betsy's full description and beautiful card.
And here is the card I made, I used Easter Blossoms and Wisteria Wonder SU! ink keeping it monochrome...
a close view of the branches, such a pretty set which I am going to miss when it goes at the end of the month, if you need it then remember to order before the 30th April!
This sentiment is also in the Easter Blossoms set prettied up with Pearls
I hope you like this and I think I might give this ago again, I enjoyed making this one :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Stampin' Up! Easy Events Christening Card

Hello!
I have a card today which uses a new to me stamp set, East Events, I recently got this set and I already love to paper piece with it, a great alternative if you are not confident or keen on colouring in, I just also love the look too ;-)
I also coated mine in Crystal Effects once I had stuck the pieces down (another bonus as there is no ink to run with paper piecing)
Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Real Red colourway, all from the Brights collection, all together make for a cheerful card :-D
I added a little stamped image to the inside corner too
and an arty angle to finish, (pom pom trim is from my stash)
I hope you like today's card and are keeping nice and dry wherever you are!

Stampin' Up! Spiced Paisley in Pink

Hello!
I am (finally) back with the Spiced Paisley card I promised you the other day today, I think this really gives this stamp set a whole different look.....
I used Regal Rose with Daffodil Delight, a very summery combo don't you think?
Daffodil Delight Satin ribbon, which is retired unfortunately :-( But, there is a tutorial for bow tying HERE though! :-)
and this picture shows I punched the centres out with the 3/4" circle punch and added some bilng too!
Right, that's me for today, back tomorrow, I promise!
Please don't forget you will not be able to order any products from the Spring Mini after the end of the month so if there is something you need please email me asap

More Satmpin' Up! Create a Cupcake

Hi there,
I have a quick little card using the soon to be going from the Spring Mini Create a Cupcake stamp set and punch, I ma going to miss this little punch, not least because it will go fantastically with one of the fab NEW stamp sets from the new Summer mini that is just around the corner ;-)
So, today's card uses embedded embossing which I was reminded of from Christmas by a card Jules made last week (or so) Cheers Jules!
I stamped the sentiment from Curly Cute before embossing with the Square Lattice Folder
and an arty angle to finish ;-)
OK, another quick post but I do have a very different Spiced Paisley card tomorrow for you!

Stampin' Up! Buttton Rainbow

Hi there,
I have another quick post today sharing a card I saw on Pinterest (LOVE it over there, inspiration abound!) You may even have noticed this one on my new blog header??
I made my Rainbow using SU! Brights buttons, tied with crochet thread and little Cupcake Punch clouds again at each end :-)
I used the Polka Dot Embossing folder on the clouds this time after I inked the edges in Baja Breeze ink, remember this punch is going at the end of the month and I am not sure whether it will be in the new catalogue, get yours now!!
and a simple double layer inside to finish
OK, I'm off to eat tea ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you like today's card :-D

Stampin' Up! Spiced Paisley

Hello,
I have a cute little card today sharing the soon to be retiring Spiced Paisley stamp set, I used Shara Sand with black again, think this colour combo is a new favourite after my Mother's Day card :-)
This time I did a bit of emboss resist...
I stamped the paisley with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder before inking with a sponge dauber in matching ink, although I think there was a bit of a yellow ink residue on the dauber, oopsie ;-)
 Black Satin ribbon bow
and a dimensional shot to finish
Right, I'm off to work now, have a great Saturday night y'all!
and if you would like to order this stamp set or anything else for that matter!) then contact me for details on how I can help :-)))))

Stampin' Up! Easter Blossoms

Hello there,
I have another card today with the soon to be retiring Easter Blossoms, but I have given it a slightly different take today, I think this would make a perfect, elegant birthday card??
I stamped the branch in black Stazon and watercoloured it using the Craft white Ink pad and a water brush. then went over the centre points of the flowers using a blender pen, again with the white ink. Once dry I heavily spritzed the card with shimmer most
finishing with a flat bow and rhinestone
If you love this stamp set remember it will be in-available after the end of the month!
Thanks for looking today.
