Trees from Scentsational Season

Hello there,
I am back!! After a whole lot of trouble with blogger uploading pics I should be back to regular postings from now on :-) Apologies for the break in service and just when I have loads to share too!!
So, to make up for my absence I am going to share 2 cards with you today both using my most used die and stamp from Scentsational Season, the Tree! I love this (and the 'lil gingerbread man too).
Now, my first card is in Sahara Sand and Night of Navy, a lovely colour combo I think...
Sentiment is from Teeny Tint Wishes and the dies are the Window Frames Framelits which can be found HERE, to order any of the products I have used on my blog then please email me for details :-)
a cute star on top of the tree was made using the punch from Merry Minis punch pack and Champagne Glimmer paper
And the second card for you today is using Gumball Green and white, a very refreshing combo I think. I embossed the white using the Northern Flurries folder and added a drop of silver Dazzling Details glitter glue to the centres and some points of each snowflake which I then spread out using my finger for a more subtle effect
the tree has a matching die which I think is just brill,  no more "fussy cutting"
and a perfect way to add a touch of ribbon is to staple it to the card, it's also not bulky so perfect for Christmas cards which have to be posted
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's cards and I will be back tomorrow with more festive makes
That's all for now,

Owl Occasions by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I am here to share with you in closer detail my Owl Occasions class. We made 3 cards in total, 2 for the ladies and also one for the boys too which is where I will start...
I love that this set can be used for the boys as well as girly cards, and I used the yummy chevron folder again  too ;-)
Now, this next card was inspired by the sample in the Autumn/Winter catalogue HERE, I did change it up a bit though,
some pretty stitched grosgrain ribbon decorates to bottom corner
and finally my favourite card from this class- a Christmas one :-))))) DSP is from the Snow Festival pack again in the A/W catty
We used the glue pen to make snow all over the owl panel as well as on his hat trim and pom pom. The cute little holly is also in the set which we inked in Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green pens which sadly in this picture doesn't show up as vibrantly as they are in real life,
Well, I hope you like today's cards and if you would like to come along to one of my classes then please do get in touch sarah-janerae@sky.com  I still have a couple of places left for next weeks Christmas stamp-a-stack, message me to book a place.
Thanks for stopping by today

Betsy's Blossoms and Four Frames Birthday Card

Hello,
I thought today we would get away from Christmas cards for a bit and I made this card recently for my friends daughters birthday, I love the springy colours together, Pool Party and Primrose Petals, very pretty!

These super little frames are in the Autumn/winter catalogue HERE and fit the four frames stamp set and matching punch (Decorative Label) perfectly, I made a little layered flower with the Boho Blossoms punch too, find the punches from HERE in the catalogue
and an arty angle to finish for today
That's all from me today, back tomorrow with the closer look at my Owl Occasions class as promised :-)

Stampin' Up! Make a Cake

Hello there,
I hope you are all OK today? It is quite grey and cold here and I have boring paperwork to do too, but before I start I wanted to share a little joy with you in the form of a pretty birthday card :-)
So, I started with the lovely set Make a Cake and this is a great set which you can layer up as much or as little as you like, so by changing the colour or toppers you could easily make a card for a man with it too. Hmmm, might have to give that one a go, watch this space...
I went with pretty butterflies to match the paper from the Patio Party DSP pack (still available in this LAST SHARE) all using the gorgeous new In Colours of Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple, a lovely combo
I LOVE Summer Starfruit, it is so on trend right now and this ribbon is just to die for, I love adding a touch with a mini stapler economical and pretty too, always a winner!
Well, that's all from me for today,
Don't forget to pop by my Stampers club post while you are here and see how you can earn yourself lots of freebies ;-)
I look forward to seeing you again here soon, thanks for stopping by

Candlelight Christmas DSP card

Hello there,
I have a super quick card for you today, it's one we made at stamp-a-stack last month and I love the clean lines of it, a great one to reproduce in multiples don't you think??
I used the Candlelight Christmas DSP from the Autumn/Winter catalogue HERE and the Curly Cute stamp set for the sentiment
to attach the DSP and acetate I simply stacked and stapled it at the top, then trimmed the top edges so they were flush with the Vanilla card, adding a knot of (retired) crochet trim with a glue dot above the staple to finish
Before I go, please remember to take a look at my Stamping club post HERE for your chance to get at least £25 worth of freebies plus a card kit each month too!!
Well, I hope you like today's card and I will be back again soon with more crafty magic ;-)

Perfectly Preserved

Hello,
I have a couple of cards to share with you tonight, these were made a while ago and I have just not had a chance to post them on here, in fact I made these when Jules was here in August and Emma popped over for a play too, just as we had the pre-order (a great demo perk, ask me how) for the Autumn/Winter catalogue :-D
So, this was the first one I made with the postage stamp punch so a nice quick one to make
I used Vellum card for the jar but had to cut the pear out by hand as I didn't have the framelits at the time so excuse the wobbly edges please ;-)
and a lovely ribbon slider containing the linen thread
Now, for this one I added some banners (I am still loving banners) and stitched them along the edge as well as the strip along the bottom
a banner and stitching close up
and the pears were inked with markers for a two tone effect
Right, that's me for now as I'm off to work.
Thanks for stopping by today,

NEW Designer Series Paper and Ribbon shares

**I am making this a sticky post**
Hello,
I am back today with news of my NEW paper and ribbon shares from the 2012-2013 catalogue!
These shares have been very popular in previous years and I have currently got
JUST 1 paper share left!
0 stitched grosgrain shares
0 In Colour ribbon share
Have you seen all the lovely paper in the new catalogue? Want them all but don't want to spend nearly £120 on paper? Especially when there are so many other lovely things to buy too??!
Well I have ordered all the papers in the new catalogue and am selling a 6"x6" square of each of the papers on pages 163-165 (Please note this share does NOT include the speciality papers on page 162)
In each share you will receive 72 x 6" square sheets of DSP, one piece from each pattern, from every pack and let me tell you they are really stunning! As ever, the small pictures in the catalogue (for obvious reasons) do not do the papers half the justice they deserve!

please scroll down for details of the ribbon shares and an offer too...
Here they are all ready to go.
This new stitched grosgrain is simply lovely and if like me you can't decide which colours are absolutely your favourite then a ribbon share is perfect for you! You will receive a metre of each of the 10 colours available for the bargain price of just
  £5 collected and £5.75 posted
up close and personal, I love these so keep watching this space for lots of ideas using these ribbons
And finally for today the New In Colour ribbon share, 1 metre of each of the 5 ribbons for just
£4.50 collected and £5.25 posted to you,
I have been playing a lot with these already and if you scroll down a bit you will see cards made with the summer starfruit ribbon plus there are more coming over the next few days too ;-)
OFFER TIME! Order 2 or more shares and I will send you a bonus metre of (retired) ribbon in your order!
Unfortunately I can't tell you which you will get as I have a lot to choose from ;-)
Please EMAIL ME asap to be sure you get the shares you want before they sell out, I'm sure they won't be around for  long!!
