Hearts a Flutter hearts ;-)

Hello there,
Here today with another card using the Hearts a Flutter bundle in my favourite Summer Starfruit colour way, today I teamed it with Primrose Petals and Basic Grey, a colour combo courtesy of the colour coach.
I used the honeycomb embossing folder on the card base,
I added the top and bottom heart with dimensionals and glued the centre one down for a change ;-)
and a bit of sewing on the ribbon ends finishes this card off for today.
Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back soon with more :-)

Blossom Party

Hello there,
I was playing around the other day with the Blossom Party die and decided to make a quick scrunched flower as I haven't made one in ages! And the Print Poetry DSP stack was just perfect for this quick card,
I wanted to use some more of the very pretty Flower Trim and one of the Designer Builder Brads for the centre of this scrunched flower
and I added a touch of Crochet trim for leaves to finish today's card
Thanks for looking today

Summer Silhouettes

Hello there,
It's been a stunning day here today, all sunny and warm ;-) so I thought I would share a card in anticipation of a long hot Summer (which better be longer than a few days this year!! ;-))
Now this card was made at a class ages ago but I have checked back and I don't think I got around to sharing it with you, it uses Summer Silhouettes on a crumb cake background which I think makes a lovely change? I used a colour combo of Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo for this card...
Love this pretty and delicate flower head
a bit of layered punching to decorate the corner
and a crumb cake taffeta ribbon bow to finish
OK, that's me for today,
We are going away for a couple of days but I am scheduling a selection of quick but pretty cards to post over the next few days so you have some pretty to look at :-))))

Butterfly Punched Cards

Hello there,
Yesterday I was having a play around with a couple of punches and my new paper stack from the Spring/Summer catalogue (Print Poetry, a fab 48 sheets for just £6.25 and they are 11.4cm x 16.5cm which means they are the perfect size for a card front with just a little trimming)
I wanted to make a little set of quick and easy cards and this is what I came up with, I used a base of Naturals White card which I also used for the top layer too, If you click on one of the smaller pictures you will see better the little flecks of petals in this very pretty card
I used the large butterfly punch from the main catalogue for  the cut out and the new smaller punch and the off cuts of the matching paper for the 2 smallest butterflies,
Pretty spotty paper and large Rhinestones
Blue and yellow floral paper with little rhinestones
Bold Raspberry paper from the stack
and another blue paper but with crumb cake this time
I am loving this great value stack right now! You can be sure you will be seeing a lot more of it ;-)
I hope you like my quick and easy makes fro today and if you are interested in getting your hands on any of the goodies I have shared then please do get in touch!
Thanks for stopping by today,

Rain or Shine?

Hello,
Honestly, today here is the first sunny day in an age (I swear!) so of course I have a card with umbrellas all over it!! How's that for timing eh??
So, the yummy paper I used for this card comes from the stack on page 16 of the Spring/Summer catty and it's called Print Poetry DSP Stack, please don't be put off (as I was initially) thinking it's all red and green, look underneath and see the colours in the stack are mostly this years (2012-2014) In Colours so lots of yummy pinks and my favourite Summer Starfruit and I teamed it with Rain or Shine with it's cute umbrellas ;-)
I added a touch of (wobbly) sewing around three sides finishing with a zig zag at each end.
And this decorative edging at the bottom is courtesy of the finishing touches edgelits (Page 190 main catty)
and some pleated Summer Starfruit ribbon finishes today's card off perfectly :-))))
Well, I hope you like today's card,
I'm off to play some more in my craft room before the peace of school time ends and half term chaos begins!
Just so you know I am placing an order tonight if you would like to add to it then please do get in touch,
Have a fab day and I hope the sun shines for you today too !

an extra large rhinestone finishes the organza satin bow off perfectly
I embossed the red spotty paper heart with the chevron embossing folder, I *heart* this folder ;-)
and my new favourite stamp from the Spring/Summer catalogue, That's the ticket! ... and yes, there is a matching punch (main catty). Perfect ;-)

Trio Feeling Sentimental

Hi there,

Well, the weather here has been awful this weekend so it has lead to a very relaxing time indoors, only venturing out for essential shopping and a sneaky (rare treat) Chinese take-away on Saturday ;-)
So, tonight I have another card from class to share with you using the stamp set Feeling Sentimental.

I was uhming and ahing about this set 'till I had a play with it, but I really enjoyed playing with it even though it is quite a different style to I usually make, it was also a big hit at class too!!
So, this card was inspired totally by one I came across on Pinterest, I will be looking for the link but right now I can't seem to see it :-(
Back to the card though for now, I used a base of Crumb Cake with a Night of Navy layer and three panels of Vanilla. Images were stamped with Early Espresso ink and using the spritzer tool and a crumb cake pen I aged all the panels,
We only added the sentiment (also from the set) with dimensionals and kept the rest flat for easy posting ;-)
Well, that's today's card for you, my next class is on the 18th January so if you would like to come along and join us then please message me for more details and I will be back tomorrow with a sneak peek card which we will be making at the next class!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you are all warm and dry wherever you are :-)

New Home!

Hello there,
I have a new home card to share with you today, I used a variation on THIS house tutorial that I made for another friend a while back, for this one I just made a single layered variation ;-)
All the pretty paper I used is the yummy Floral District DSP and the brads are some retired ones I had leftover which I think work perfectly
I inked the edges of the house in Tangerine Tango (a newly discovered like ;-)) and added some lucky limeade card behind the punched heart TIP: I punched the limeade card with the postage stamp punch as it's smaller than the square so sat behind the house discretely ;-)
Well, that's today's card for you, I hope you have enjoyed it and I'll be back tomorrow with another class card using Feeling Sentimental this time.
'till then Happy Stampin'!

Madison Avenue and Pretty Petits Sale-a-Bration stamps

Hello!
I have had a lovely couple of days running my classes and so today I want to share with you another make from this weeks class, we had a really fun time and lots of laughs this week, it was fab to see everyone again :-)
Anyway, this is one of the cards we made. Actually it has a funny story this little card. I had made a sample for the class (as usual) and then on Monday it turns out that someone at Saturdays class had accidentally picked up my sample card! Oh well, I simply made another, this has only ever happened once before so I was surprised but not overly concerned. I made the new card with the first class lady and all was well... 'till Tuesday when somehow the very same card had been (once again) accidentally taken home by another unknowing class attendee! Ha ha! What are the chances of the same card being swept up in a pile two classes in a row? Perhaps it was more popular than I thought ;-)))) Lol!
Anyway, as you can probably see we used the cool new hexagonal embossing folder with Pool Party core-dinations card with more of that yummy Sycamore Street DSP too :-)
the little flower in the Madison Avenue fits in the itty bitty punches, good huh? The little "hello" sentiment is from Pretty Petits and had a FREE matching punch too :-))))
and the lovely Pool Party ribbon along with this button are also SAB freebies, message me to get some of your very own ;-)
all the Sale-a-bration goodies are here...

Right, that's me for today, Zoe has a dance show at school tonight and tomorrow night so I have to crack on with tea a bit early today.
Back tomorrow with a new home card to share with you.
Thanks for stopping by today
