Perfect Couple Card with Framelits Embossing Guide

Hello there,
I have finally had a creative day and it feels great! I seem to have been trying to do this for weeks and either had crafters block, been poorly or just not had time to get in there. So, today I managed to make 6 cards and do some (crafty) organisation of my wires, more of which I will share with you over the next week or so.
Quickly before I share today's card I want to just say classes are coming back! I have just one place left on the stamp-a-stack class on Saturday 15th Feb, one place left on Tuesday 18th but plenty on Monday 17th February, please do message me of you want to come to my first class of 2014 :-)
OK, onto today's card, this cute set is called Perfect Couple. It's super modern and can be found in the new Spring/Summer Catalogue, I really love it! I made this super cute card in a flash, after I worked out how to emboss with framelits that is, please scroll down to see a better picture of the embossed bit as well as the sandwich you will need to make yours :-)
I embossed around this image using the new Banner dies and the sandwich you need to achieve this look is..
{working from the bottom up}
***
Magnetic Platform (or multi purpose platform, tab 2 showing)
***
Premium Crease Pad (I recommend a new(ish) one of these as it will be flat, perhaps even keep a spare for this as you don't ever cut it)
***
Stamped card (stamp first so you have flat card to work on and you will get a nice, clear image)
***
Framelit of your choice - CUTTING SIDE UP
***
Acrylic Cutting Pad
***
run through your Big Shot machine to get this look
and a touch of silver bakers twine decorates the corner
OK, that's all from me for today, I hope you have a go at this cool technique, please share if you do :-)))
I'm off to work now, thanks for visiting,

A Perfect Blend and See Ya Later SAB

Hello!
So, tomorrow is the start of Sale-a-Bration, the best time of year for any SU! addict (yes, I'm definitely one! perhaps even one and a half?? lol!) FREE goodies for every £45 spent, whoop!! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for a look at all the freebies plus all the links you need :-D
But first, I'm finally able to blog again after having a very long week where I was poorly, even as far as laid up in bed and not able to go to work! Both of those are so unlike me, so I really must have been sick!! Fortunately I am all better now. I obviously haven't blogged this last week but I'm back today with this card I made last Monday before the dreaded lurgi struck ;-) One of the ladies at hubby's work was leaving and DH said she is a big coffee fan so this is what I made for the folks at his work to sign...
I used a colour combo of Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana both on a base of Smoky Slate and all highlighted with gold! Loving the gold ;-)
This coffee cup is part of the Perfect Blend stamp set which is a bargain at just £9.95 in clear..
This sentiment is again from the free SAB set See Ya Later, FREE from tomorrow (28th Jan- 31st March '14) I stamped this image with Versamark and then heat embossed it with gold powder.
The background was stamped using Gorgeous Grunge, I did the Coastal Cabana card with Versamark (after embossing) for a more subtle effect and the Cantaloupe card in matching ink so it's slightly darker
and stamped off images decorate inside to finish
OK, that's me for today, I have lots to do before I play later but I promise I will be back tomorrow with SAB ideas to kick start this fab promotion.
Thanks for looking today and for your patience this week :-)))

Sale-a-Bration Sneak Peek day 2

Good Morning,
When I was making the card I blogged yesterday (HERE) I had a bit of a light bulb moment and remembered the mini note books I made a long while back. I am terribly guilty of only using my ideas once or twice then constantly trying to think of new things, I really must "case" my own work more often, I'm sure I'd get more made! And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who does this?! So, why don't we all try to case ourselves this week, there's a challenge for you, remember to let me see too ;-)
So, here were the original notepads and one of the cards I made...

For more pics see HERE and HERE...

and here is the card I made this week using the new FREE Sale-a-Bration DSP Sweet Sorbet with the also new and of course FREE stamp set See Ya Later (Note: SAB starts 28th January, I will pop the links up then)
The clouds were made with the 1/2" and 3/4" circle punches, I actually made a template from retired coloured card so I could re-create these easily ;-)
this paper behind the holes as clouds is Sweet Sorbet and the base and top layer is Crumb Cake with a layer of Black making a narrow border
The sentiment is See Ya Later and I stamped it using Versamark and heat embossed the image using Smoky Slate embossing powder to get this raised shiny image.
and a side view to end today, love the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, it really pops on this otherwise pretty neutral card
OK, so that's me for today,
I'm off to my craft room as right now it's actually tidy and so I can see everything, lol :-)))

Rainbow Sneak Peek for SAB 2014

Hello there,
I hope that you are having some sun where you are as we have finally spotted some blue sky for the first time today in a very long while!
The card I have to share with you today is a Sneaky Peek at the upcoming Sale-a-Bration goodies you could be earning for FREE from the 28th January (earn one free product fro every £45 spent with me :-))
On this card I have 2 freebies! The first is the cute little banner punch I made the rainbow with, the clouds are the Cupcake Punch on a Soft Sky (prefect name ;-)) layer..
The second sneak product for you today is this super sweet sentiment, which I think is just adorable! It might even be my favourite of the whole SAB catalogue?!
Speaking of, if you would like a FREE SAB catalogue then please EMAIL ME and I will pop one in the post to you :-) This set is called See ya Later.
and a side view where you can see I gently turned the ends of the banners up using my bone folder before adhering them to the card ;-)
And one last thing I want to share with you today is that the Envelope Liner dies are now discounted by a whopping 40%!! That's just £13.95 while stocks last!! (this is because the largest die has square corners, which do fit our envelopes, but the new version, when they are released, will have rounded corners), PLUS you can also make cute little treat holders like these with them ;-)
Go HERE to see them in my shop:-)
OK, that's all from me for today,
Thanks for looking and have a lovely Sunday,
