Christmas Card with a 3d Tree using Stampin' up's Tree Punch

Good Morning!
And Happy Halloween!! We love Halloween here and are going to decorate the house ready for tonight in a while. Of course I have made the Treats for the kiddies already and you may have seen them if you are a follower of mine on Facebook. I used the Pumpkin Pie Simply Created kits that are just £1.79 in the Clearance Rack at the moment (they have some Christmas ones too just FYI) and  they come with cello bags, pre-cut banners, bakers twine, orange sticker strips and the cute mini tags all ready to go, just add stamps! I stamped these mini tags using the Holiday Home stamp set, did you see the cute mini bats, pumpkin and ghost stamps in this set?? So sweet :-)
OK, so onto today's proper project ;-) and it's a Christmas card today! I made this card in a Crisp Cantaloupe with White and a touch of Cherry Cobbler (in the DSP) for a modern take on Christmas, then I added a super cute and quick 3d tree.
I started by sponging with a dauber and white craft ink through the stars stencil on the card base.
This little tree is a fab way to use up leftover DSP. Simply punch 3 trees, scoring down the centre (which makes the folding much easier and crisper) and glue them together! Voilà! This paper is in the Trim the Tree DSP stack.
I added a simple bow around the top crease in White Organza Ribbon
and a side view to finish today.
OK, I hope you all have a very happy and fun Halloween and I'll be back soon with another card.
Stampin' hugs from me for today,

White Christmas by Stampin' Up! and Making Cards Magazine News

Good Morning!
It's another busy day here again today with sleepovers and Halloween preparations planned for later on but I wanted to pop on and share with you this card I made.
I used the very lovely White Christmas stamp set to make this scene on a Crumb Cake card layer with Pool Party. I used the White Gel Pen with some blender pen colouring too. I was inspired by a card Jules made, I loved the white gel pen on crumb cake so many thanks Jules! This White Christmas set is a photo-polymer set so it's nice and easy to add elements to build your scene like this....
Love this tree, which is a separate stamp from the car, so you can choose to have it on there or leave it off but it's flat on one side ready to add! The "snow" on the ground was added with a sponge from the Craft White Ink Pad
a bit of colouring with a Pool Party ink pad and Blender Pens and snowfall from the White Gel Pen on the Christmas banner
I really love this thick twine (it's taken over for me from Bakers Twine!), this is Pool Party twine which is available now in the Clearance rack but only while stocks last
and a side view to finish today, another card that would be good for posting as it's flat, you might have to leave the twine off though?? (Noooo! lol)
Just before I know I promised to share with you when I was in magazines but last month just went by so quickly!! So I was wondering if you've seen this months Making Cards magazine? I'm on the front cover this month (Whoop!!) with a wreath card - lower left hand side, removable keepsakes - with full instructions for all cards included, check it out if you get a chance!
OK, that's all from me for today, I'll be back tomorrow with another Christmas card for you.
Thanks for looking today,

Gorgeous Grunge and Ornamental Pine by Stampin' up! with Bleanabilities and New Stamp Club Starting in November

Hello there,
I have a card today that I simply adore!! I know, I probably shouldn't say that but in my defence I can say it was totally cased from a card I found on Pinterest with an explanation on how to achieve it from THIS lady, thanks Billie :-)
I loved the idea of heat embossing and colouring with Blendabilities (Blendies) anyway but when I saw it done with the Ornamental Pine stamp set I just knew had to have a go for myself!! So I made this version which is a Smoky Slate base and top layer with white heat embossed Ornamental Pine and Gorgeous Grunge for the snow...
I used Old Olive and Skin Tone Blendies to colour the needles and twig
I stapled some sheer linen ribbon onto the card and tied it into a bow. Love this ribbon as it makes a very decadent looking bow ;-)
and I finished by heat embossing the sentiment from the set in silver onto vellum
and if you would like to have a go at this card then all the supplies needed are listed below ;-)
Want to spread your purchasing power a bit and still get hostess benefits?? Why not join my NEW stamp club I'm starting in November? More details HERE but basically spend just £25 a month for 6 months and be the hostess for one of those month meaning you get to choose at least £25 worth of freebies!!

Thanks for looking today, I'll be back tomorrow with more :-)
