TMT video Tutorial. Stampin' Up's Gold and Silver Thread - The Tip You Need To Know!

Hello,
Today's Two minute Tuesday is actually a two minute video! I know! Not a 15 minute one like I have been doing ;-) Well, in fact it's actually less than two minutes and it's a little tip I figured out because while I adore the new Silver and Gold thread SU! introduced in the new catty (Page 159) it does drive me mad because don't you find that it unrolls all the time?
Well, I have the easiest, cheapest solution for you in this weeks video, take a look!! Then let me know what you think ;-)

I hope you enjoyed that TMT video and remember I'll be back with another next Tuesday :-)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Using Gift From The Garden to make a Flower Pot Trio by Stampin' Up! and join SU! now for FREE stamps!

Hi here,
Today's card is a card we made at class a couple of weeks ago! I know! It's taken me ages to get it blogged but I have so much to share with you lately!! lol
Before I head into this card I just wanted to give you a heads up that there is only 2 DAYS left to get 2 FREE STAMPS sets!! IWheather you want to make a business from being a demo or if you simply have a really long wish list now is a fab time to sign up. You can join with me HERE or you can message me with any questions you may have. Please remember this offer finishes on the 30th June 2015!!
So, lets see this card shall we?  This is another new stamp set from the new catalogue. You can find it on page 81 :-)
I used my markers to colour in the stamps to get this multi coloured look.
Colours used were: Old Olive, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo and Crumb Cake.
I love this sentiment! I stamped it in the same Lost Lagoon colour (as the card) for this subtle effect.
And a top view to finish today.
Wouldn't this make a great card for a guy too, with just a few small changes?
I hope you have enjoyed today's card and I'll be back tomorrow with an actual two minute video for TMT!! Get me ;-)
Thanks for looking!

A Stampin' Up! Hostess Set: Floral Wings Weekend! Day 2.

Hello
And welcome to day 2 of this Floral Wings Weekend! Today's card is based on a card I originally designed way in March 2012!! When I looked it up I couldn't believe it was so long ago! You can find it HERE
I have made it even more simple with this one layer card in a fresh Wild Wasabi and Blackcurrant Bliss colourway, lets see....
I stamped the vine in wasabi then added some of the individual flowers from the set.
Fortunately that's nice and easy to position with this photopolymer stamp set ;-)
Same sentiment as yesterday - but a totally different looking card!
Yup, I still love this design! What do you think??
I'll be back tomorrow with a new card for you so please do pop back then!
Until then though enjoy the rest of your weekend :-)

A Stampin' Up! Hostess Set: Floral Wings Weekend! Day 1.

Hello,
I'm late today as we had a cricket match, with the youngest, away from home with a really early start this morning (for a Saturday, that is!) then we popped out to visit with FiL taking him into town for a bit too, which was lovely! We finally just got home though after being out for nearly 12 hours today and I'm pooped!

So I wanted to quickly pop on here before I put my feet up to share with you - on this weekend of Floral Wings - this little card using (I think) the best hostess stamp set ever! Floral Wings - I adore this set! If you want to get your own set of these stamps then you need to earn it with hostess rewards- if you want to know more please do message me.
OK, so this card uses new in colour Watermelon Wonder and I teamed with Night of Navy to make this vase of flowers card...

After stamping the vase I used the new Lots of Labels framelits to cut it out then ran my marker around the edges to make it pop before backing with a spray of silver thread
This sweet sentiment is included in the stamp set
I popped the image panel up on dimensionals and added lots of stamped roses (the ones that fit in the butterfly wings) down the left hand side
Sprinkling with a few rhinestones to finish today :-)
I really hope you've enjoyed today's card as much as I did making it?
And if you want to see all the cards I design with this set please click HERE. <<< I promise this will have a lot more cards really quickly (as soon as I get a chance to play some more)!
I'm going to schedule tomorrow's, (very different) card using the same set to make this a weekend of Floral Wings, straight away so you'll get it a lot earlier as we have another early cricket match tomorrow morning :-)
Thanks as ever for stopping by today,

CAS Hello Card using Greetings Thinlits by Stampin' Up!

Hello,
I was really excited when saw these awesome greetings thinits in the new catalogue as I think the font is just so versatile. I'll also let you in on a  little secret here, I have a lots of projects in the pipeline using these little beauties!! Bet that's a surprise, right?? lol!
OK, so this CAS card was born from the waste of another I recently made, can you tell which one??

Yes, it was this CAS Ice-cream card I made at the beginning of the month
(you can find that post  HERE

So, back to this design, I had die cut the sentiment from the Rose Red card layer and was left with the negative which I backed using this cool, stripey green paper from the Cherry on Top DSP stack
I used (again) the new, thick white card and embossed it using the large polka dot folder and sprinkled a few mini glimmer paper stars across the card
I love this simple card and it used up a small piece of card that was going to be waste, that's a winner all round for me! What do you think?
Well, that's all from me for today,
I'll be back tomorrow with a new card but 'till then- go make something fun!
