Happy New Year and my SU! Downline Gifts for Christmas 2015

Hello,
Yes, I know I said I had finished with the Christmas posts for this year but I do still have one last post to share with you! I really wanted to show you the Christmas cards and gifts that I sent to my downline this year!
Happily for you whilst the cards are christmassy, the gifts I made were not ;-) I wanted the ladies to be able to use them all year so I used the Sprinkles Of Life stamps and punch for the gifts, but let's see the Christmas Cards I made first shall we?
I used "Wonderland" (again) in Navy and Lost Lagoon, adding a touch of the new Wink of Stella pen (I'm so happy that SU! are selling these now, they are fab!) to the trees for some sparkle...
 And here are the notebooks I decorated. I found these in IKEA of all places, they are super cute and will fit in most handbags (I thought). And the pages inside? They match the spots on the outside, how adorable!
And to finish I made Lost Lagoon envelopes (using the EPB), decorated them with  snowflakes and wrapped them with gold thread but I also heat embossed each persons name in gold for that extra special touch :-)
 Well, that's all from me for today and for this year!
What a fantastic year it's been here at Cards and a Cuppa HQ with lots of fun and sharing happening both on here and in person. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed the posts and ideas that I have shared as much as I have enjoyed designing and making them?? I'm truly looking forward to making many more in 2016.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year !!!

The Very Last of This Years Christmas Makes and Stampin Up's Year End SALE!

Hello!
We've been out this morning sales shopping for a few last minute clothes for our upcoming holiday, we are all so excited to be going away!! I'm jolly glad we went first thing this morning though as it was chokka-block going back into town when we left at lunchtime, eek! So, if you fancy a little armchair sales shopping can I recommend a look through the Clearance Rack in my SHOP? There's still a lot of fun stuff to be had, and not just Christmas stuff either, please do take a look ;-)
OK, so I do still have a few Christmas creations to share with you so I thought I would just do one last bumper Christmassy blog post today sharing FIVE Projects/Cards with you ;-)
~~~~~~
These are the little bags I made for my customers for Christmas gifts using the last of my Christmas DSP - they were the perfect size for a tube of glitter glue. I originally designed them as the "25" box for my Advent Calendar so there's a video HERE if you want to make some too :-) Add a tag made with the ornate tag topper punch, (Note: the Angled Tag Topper punch is in the sale now and makes a great alternative, I love mine!!), Stamp a snowflake from Flurry of wishes stamps and you're done.
(The video shares the advent tags to start, with this box coming in just after 8 minutes)
 Next, we have a cute card using the (very popular this year,) Sleigh Ride Edgelits. To achieve this look I stamped the sentiment (from the hostess only set "Six Sayings") using versamark then heat embossed in white, before stamping the snowflakes (from "A Little Something") using versamark only, for a softer colour, on Mint Macaron card. Finish by layering onto white and soft sky then edge the die cut houses and hill with dazzling diamonds glitter using your glue pen.
 This next card is more of a vintage style and you'll notice I made two different versions - one with gold trim and one without. I made the one without first and I just felt it was missing something, it was my DH that came up with the idea of making the "Noel" sentiments into baubles by adding the thread, good plan, eh? The branch is from the Peaceful Wreath stamp set and I added plenty of glitter glue to this card too!
 This next project uses the Tiny Treat Boxes to make a quick gift. I decorated these with a few strips of washi tape and wrapped in silver cord, job done!
These are so handy to have in your stash with a few rolls of washi for quick and easy gifting!
 and one final card for today using the now sold out "Wonderland" stamps to make a gold and black CAS card. I loved these antlers as soon as I saw them and they seemed to be everywhere in the shops this christmas too! I do love a bit of Gold, Kraft and Black and these wooden snowflakes have been a huge hit this year with my customers :-)
So, that's all from me for today and what a whopping great long post this was! Thanks for sticking with me and do remember that the goodies in the Year end Sale are strictly while stocks last so please order asap to ensure you get what you'd like!
My online code is running 'till the end of December too, for a bonus free gift to say thanks in January...
A Double Helping of Emboss Resist Christmas Cards using Peaceful Pines by Stampin' Up!
Hello!
I hope you have had a wonderful time with family and loved ones this Christmas. We have pretty much stayed in the house since Christmas eve and chilled, it's been a much needed break for everyone :-)
I do have a few last Christmas makes to share with you so I will do a couple of posts over the next few days sharing the last of the festive makes from this year, perhaps you might be able to adapt the layout or ideas for non-christmas makes?
So, as promised the other day I have a duo of cards to share with you today, the first, Mint Macaron, was from the PEaceful Pines class I held a few weeks ago and the second, Night of Navy, one was just an extra I made with the circle die cut from THIS shaker card (also from the class).
Lets start with the Mint card...
 I stamped using Versamark and heat embossed over using Iridescent Ice powder
Then, using a sponge dauber and starting in the centre, I inked in a circular motion to get this hazy look.
 Finish with a few white perfect accents and thats this card, done.
 And card two. This one was heat embossed in white onto a circle that I die cut whilst making THIS card. I then inked over using a sponge and navy ink to make this card.
 A closer look at the tree
 I added the sentiment onto a die cut tree adding a few extra snowflakes from the set too.
 I used the Watercolour Wash background stamp with heat and stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds glitter for this card. It's really sparkly IRL but very difficult to photograph ;-)
 and a top view to finish today
Well, I hope you liked todays cards? Don't forget to take a look in the Clearance Rack for a bargain or two from the Autumn/Winter catalogue which will finish on the 4th January when the new Spring/Summer catalogue* launches. *You can Message me for a copy and I'll post out after the bank holiday :-)
Thanks so much for looking today,
7 Christmas Cards using Peaceful Pines Stamps and Perfect Pines Dies by Stampin' Up!
Hello there,
 So, I have finally finished work for a week after doing a whole load of extra shifts this last month or so, and what happens? Yep, I ended up in bed poorly for the last 24 hours! Luckily I'm feeling much better today as I had to brave the big christmas food shop, it was bedlam out there today :-] Anyway, let's get onto todays card. And in an effort to share all the festive cards I have still to blog before Christmas I have a whopping 7 cards tonight! They are all quite similar, but each a bit different.
I started by stamping a whole heap of these trees in lots of different colours using all the stamps from the Peaceful Pines set then die cutting them out before choosing which went best together.
Please, take a look...
Add Dazzling Diamonds glitter using a glue pen
 I'm really going to miss this silver cord...
 A little TIP: Tie the bow then add a tiny dot of crystal effects behind the knot, clip in place (use a peg or paperclip), once dry the bow will sit perfectly :-)
 The sentiment I used is from the hostess only set "Six Sayings", I love this font!
 Pink and Crumb Cake
 And more Crumb Cake with Navy, that's been a winning combo for me this year :-)
 And there you have them all! I hope you have enjoyed todays picture heavy post and do pop back tomorrow for more Christmas fun!
Thanks so much for looking tonight and Stampin' Hugs,
