Floral Frames Card

Hello there!
Today I have a card using the very pretty wreath image stamp from the Floral Frames set which I coloured using my blends. This was a super quick card to colour and so fairly quick to make too, let's see...
I do love this image and I wanted it to be the focus so just added some coordinating twine around the bottom.
Layered onto calypso coral card to bring out the orange in the flowers too.
And pop on a few sequins (obvs) to finish! Super simple stamping and colouring.
A perfect and pretty card, great if you're just starting with Blends and only have a few colours...
So, I have been back in my craft room making a few cards this past week, ready for my upcoming Needlepoint Nook class, which I have also photographed and they now need just a little editing before I can share them here. Very soon, I promise...
But I now also have a large box of shiny new stash to get stuck into this week too. I'm enjoying getting back in the swing of things, craft wise, after the Christmas break, I just need a few more hours in every single day to fit everything in, lol!
OK, I'll be back super soon with another make but 'til then, happy crafting!

Sketch Challenge for Inspire. Create Challenges using Floral Frames

Hello and welcome to another challenge (#23) with Inspire. Create and this week it's a sketch challenge :-D
Amd this is what I made using the sketch to work from...
I used the Twinkle, Twinkle striped paper. Simply chopping it into four and flipping two of the squares to create a pinwheel effect.
Wrapped with spotted tulle and then topped with a triple layered "Floral Frames" sentiment.
I used the new Embossing Mats to add extra texture to the leaves on the floral frames. Love that!
Finish with a few Iridescent Sequins for a little bling!
For many more ideas please head over to the ICC blog and see what the rest of the DT have made :-)
