Saturday Sharing! A Cupcakes and Carousels Card and a Video Tutorial too!

Hello! 
I have a fun card today using the very lovely Carousel Birthday stamp set and as I had this stamp set in wood mount I decided to make a super quick video to share with you how I mount my stamps and ensure they are straight on the block!
Let's see the card I made with the set first though shall we? I teamed this cute stamp set with the matching Cupcakes and Carousels DSP pad to make this card...

 The little cupcakes on the big wheel are die cut out using the Up and Away thinlits, a dual purpose set of dies, bonus! I stamped these in Navy and Rose Red.

So, here's a super quick video to share how I mount my stamps onto their wood blocks. 

It's easiest with a Stamp-a-ma-jig, grid paper and of course you'll need an ink pad :-)

Inside the Lines - FREE colouring DSP for Sale-a-Bration 2017

Hello there,
Today I want to share this fun card that was one of the make and takes from On Stage way back in November. It uses the free Sale-a-Bration 2017 Inside the Lines DSP coloured using watercolour pencils, take a look...

 I coloured the paper with the pencils and blended it out using a blender pen, you could also use an aquapainter or a regular paintbrush.

 I love the layered burlap ribbon sentiment and twine detail, sentiment is from Dragonfly Dreams.

 And one final photo for today :-)

Cool Treats Strawberry Fun!

Hello crafty friends!
So, I know I've been a bit of a bad blogger so far this year but it's never too late to make a resolution, right? I have been very busy in my craft room (lots of commissions I can't share yet) and just a few things I can ;-) So, I'm going to try r-e-a-a-l-l-y hard to keep on top of things here a little better - starting today!  Just before I share todays card I should say I do tend to post on Instagram when I'm in my craft room - so for lots of "behind the scenes" shots and to see what I'm working on please do feel free to follow me there :-)
So, I made this card just the other day using the Cool Treats stamp set, I love this little strawberry in the set and I wanted to make something CAS and I came up with this....

 I stamped the strawberries in Flirty Flamingo with Melon Mambo pips and a Mint Macaron top.

The sentiment is Melon Mambo and Night of Navy- although it does look more black here  ;-)

Washi Wednesday

Hello!

It's been a while since I shared a Washi Wednesday but I have a fun little way to jazz up your gifts and envelopes to share with you today. As with most washi projects this is super quick and easy but makes all the difference to boring or plain packaging...

 I used some lovely glitter Washi but, of course, you could use any tape you have. Why  not choose one to match your gift or card...

 Or a more transparent tape for the envelope, if it needs posting :-)

Let's actually use that Washi Tape instead of storing it in pretty baskets! I'm off to see what else I can do with washi!
