Wedding Card

Morning All ,
Hope you are all having a good day, Well the weather here has FINALLY stopped raining, thank God, It's been a long weekend of bored kids and moans about the dreaded homework... We did have some good news though -- We got our youngest into the school we wanted, which is on the same site as the older two, but not in our catchment !! Woo Hoo !! I also have some news about me that I will share with you all a bit later on when I have some more info on it !!

Anyway on with the card I made this weekend. It is a card for a friend of mine for a wedding but it needed to be big so 40 or so people could sign it, so I have made it from a piece white pearlescent A4 card folded in half, then printed the sentiment straight onto the card (can't seem to print onto velum without it bleeding)

Then die cut the large wedding cake by Sizzix in more white card and the trims in core'dinatons card the same as the top panel. I then put the cake and panel in the d'vine swirl cuttlebug folder and through the cuttlebug. I then sanded the top panel a little, tied on the ribbon, layered the cake on oval nesties and added a little bit of Glamour Dust to the trims on the cake (not that it showing here!)

Inside I just put a little verse so there is still plenty of room for everone to write in.

Let me know what you think, Thanks for stopping by,

Sarah-Jane xx

  2. this is so pretty. I love the idea of putting the cake through the bug too, and that heart on the bow is really cute
