Simply Stampin' Buttons and Bows

Hello today,
I am so sorry this is such a late post today, I got in from work late last night and usually I schedule this post when I get home, but as I walked in the door DH went out, I completely forgot about my blog as it just threw me and I got on and made a few things ;-) ooopsie, sorry 'bout that!
Anyway, here we are. When I first heard that this weeks challenge was Buttons and Bows over at Simply Stampn' Challenge Blog <<< shameless link there! he he! I knew exactly the sort of card I wanted to make because a few weeks ago I purchased this gorgeous bag...
So inspired by both I made this
I used Springtime Vintage DSP (available in THIS share) for the background with some retired Rose Red paper under Vellum card stock in the corner. I embossed the vellum with the square lattice folder as I wanted to emulate the bag texture, it is very touchy feely with a fab mix of buttons and interesting bits ;-)
This frame is from Baby Blossoms, the cute little buttons are Bitty Buttons from the mini and are clear, here I backed it with a matching shape made using the Heart to Heart punch and a scrap of Night of Navy card,
more buttons including Big Buttons (in share) and here I made a large ribbon flower using crumb cake seam binding ribbon last item in the same  SHARE
and inside I copied the strap from the bag,
So that's this weeks challenge for you, I really hope you will be able to join in with us this week, the DT have lots of other fab ideas and inspiration for you too so do pop over and have a look!

Ahh, P.J. day for us today, I need a day in, I have loads to make today! Have a lovely day what ever you are up to and thanks for stopping by my lil' ole blog,
Stampin' Hugs,
