Easy Lip Balm Box Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up! DSP

Hello there,
So, this time last week I was in Telford for Stampin' Up's On Stage 2016 (you can see loads more on my Facebook and Instagram pages!) and we had a fabulous time! We saw first the new, upcoming catalogue and received an (already well loved) hard copy!! Fantastic displays and products and we watched demonstrations both live and streamed from the USA On Stage! It was a fab weekend for all demonstrators! (And yes, you can go too this November if you are a demo... let me know if you'd like more details)
So, I drove up there with two of my downline and I wanted to give them a little road trip goody bag, full of essential supplies for a (fairly long) drive and this lip balm holder {with a video tutorial} was one of the things I designed for the trip. I will share all the other goodies with you over the next week :-)
These are the original two I made for my Road Trip buddies, I used English Garden DSP :-)
They held a little lip balm easily and I simply secured them closed with a wrap of bakers twine.
 Cute eh?
OK, so I made a super quick video tutorial for you this week too, take a look...
For those who prefer written measurement here you go:
DSP: 7.5cm x 21cm or 3" x 8+1/4"
Score along the short side at 2.5cm and 5cm or 1" and 2"
Score along the long edge at 4cm, 6.5cm, 13.5cm and 16cm or
1+1/2", 2+1/2", 5+1/4" and 6+1/4".
Please watch the video for further instructions and tips :-)
And to finish, here is one more pic of the holders I made for this video :-)
Well, I hope you linked todays quick tutorial and I'll be back with more road trip goodies over the next week!
Thanks for looking,

  2. Thank you Sarah Jane for the tutorial - I could have done with it yesterday! Following your example I have made a Long Haul Survival Kit for Simon and Laura (for their trip to NZ on Tuesday!). Made the lip balm box as a matchbox style!
