Five Days of Botanical Blooms. Day 2: Botanical Gardens DSP -- Not Just For Girls!

Hello,
And welcome to day two of my new mini series using the Botanical Blooms bundle :-)
In this series I wanted to share with you just how versatile this bundle is! It's perfect for so many cards from CAS to Shaker to cards for the men in your life, I hope you enjoy.

So, today I wanted to share a card that I have designed for a fella using this lovely leafy paper from the pack and 'manning it up' using burlap ribbon, twine and Kraft card, what do you think...
This sentiment is from the SaB set Perfect Pairings, I hope you got yours?
I stamped it using versamark and heat embossed it in gold before die cutting it using my Chalk Talk framelits. I haven't used those in a while!
I die cut these leaves from the matching SaB vellum pad then inked the back using a sponge to make them pop a little. If you didn't choose this patterned vellum during SaB you can of course just use plain vellum :-)

To attach the leaves to the card I stapled them by the stems then wrapped the linen thread around a couple of times to hold the larger section securely.
I wrapped the sentiment around the paper and Kraft card layer before adding it to a Mossy Meadow card base.
TIP: This Mossy Meadow in colour* leaves us on the 31st May. Remember to order any extra packs of card and an ink refill on your next order...
*Note: Also leaving us is Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist
And one more pic to finish today :-)
Thanks for looking today and I hope you liked todays card?  Don't forget you can share your makes on my Craft with Cards and a Cuppa facebook page, I hope to see you over there :-)))
I'll be back on here tomorrow with a little Botanical Blooms CAS notecard, 'till then
Stampin' Hugs,
