Baby Girl and Birthday Shaker Cards with a video sharing tips for the new Foam Strips by SU!

Hello and happy Saturday to you.!
I have not one, but two gorgeous shaker cards to share with you today so it's kind of a long-ish post  with plenty of pictures and the video? That's right near the end ;-)
As you know I do love a good shaker card and so when I saw the new foam strips for shaker cards in the upcoming catalogue I was soooo excited! Anyway, I needed to make a baby card and realised there was a bit more to it than just sticking them on - not a lot, but there are a few tips that will help. So, I made a video!
Let me share the cards with you first, this one is made with the kit we received at Telford On Stage.
It's a Melon Mambo frame and I teamed that with Melon, Smoky Slate and Dapper Denim stamping.
The  background was stamped with the new set Confetti Celebrations
and I used Dapper Denim for the sentiment inside
 and a top view :-)
So, in the video I share how to make a shaker card with a large, solid shaped opening (above) and one with lots of small shapes. I *may* have got carried away with the amount of small sections on this card... but it does look super cute right?
I used the adorable Baby's First framelits...
With a mixture of sequins and beads for this cards shaky bits and the Love Blossoms DSP stack for the paper behind the openings. All explained in the video.
Aww, I just need someone to have a baby girl now ;-)
Right, how about seeing this video.
These fab strips will be available on the 1st June in the new catalogue, I can't wait to share it all with you!!
Well, I hope you have enjoyed todays video and I'll be back tomorrow with another shaker card - the  inspiration behind this video!
