Using SU's Barnyard Babies for an Emerald Envy Colour Combination

Hello there!
First of all Wow! Thanks for the amazing response to yesterday's post! I'm so glad you loved my cute little cactus guy as much as I did ;-) If you missed it you can see it HERE.
Today I am teaming the old with the new. Last week I grabbed all the new in colour ink pads and teamed them up with other colour ink pads to make a few fresh colour combos. It was nothing more sophisticated than putting a few ink pads next to each other to see what looked good together! Then I made a card that used the colours I had selected so that's what I'll be sharing with you over the next few days :-)
I want to start with Emerald Envy and I teamed it with Smoky Slate, Basic Grey and Pink Pirouette.
I decided to pull out another favourite stamp set of mine, Barnyard Babies.
TIP: Although I usually buy clear mount stamps I actually have this stamp set in wood mount as there are soooo many teeny, tiny bits to it ;-)
Doesn't Emerald Envy make for some great grass? Seen here using a masking technique.
I coloured the little cow in using my ink pads and blender pens after stampin in Basic Grey.
*Did you know Basic Grey (and Basic Black) are waterproof inks so won't smudge when you're colouring?
 Gotta have some sequins :-)
Here's a little secret: With such simple cards there's no room for error so I actually ended up making this card about 4 or 5 times before there were either no mistakes, smudges or wonky sentiments! CAS should be renamed OCD Torture! Lol!!!
So, that's all for today!  I'm back tomorrow with another card but right now I'm off to play with my new SU! stash for the afternoon.
Thanks so much for looking :-)
