Nailed It! Stamps by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
So, today is a Jems blog hop day! And the theme is Spring/Summer and Sale-aBration so, as there's such a lot of exciting products to choose from I'm sure there will be plenty of fun things to see on this hop! All links are at the end of this post :-)
So, I decided to share with you a fun little card using one of my favourite sets (so far) from the Spring/Summer catalogue- Nailed It! I've teamed it with the Serene Scenery DSP and I think these stamps work so well with some of the realistic images in this stack... Take a peek...
I used the stitched edge dies to cut out the sentiment panel and the large oval, love these dies!
I stamped and heat embossed the hammer in silver and watercoloured it using an aqua painter and ink pads.
TIP: If I'm not using watercolour paper I like to use thick white card or shimmer card for easy watercolouring.
There is also a set of matching dies for this stamp set :-)
So, that's my card for today and I do hope you like it?!
It's now time to hop over to see what my friend and upline, the very talented Julie has made or you can hop back to see the lovely Sharon's wonderful creations! Enjoy!!
