Stepper Card Tutorial

Good Morning!
As promised I have a mini tutorial for you today sharing how I made this card here...
It was a bit fiddly to get the measurement so photographed as I went along to hopefully help somebody as it took me few times to get it right, perhaps it was just me though ;-)
Anyway, you begin by cutting down the long length of your A4 card at 10.5cm
To begin, I mark all the score and cut lines first to make life a bit easier.
So you need to score all the lines marked in pencil, as shown, the outside edge ones are all 2cm from the edges and in the centre at half A4 (14.8cm) Then cut along the blacked out lines, I use my Fiskars trimmer for this..
Then simply fold to make your card
It's that easy, although not easy to explain! I hope this makes sense to you, please let me know if it isn't clear :-)
That's it for today from me, I'm off to design the next Christmas Stamp-a-Stack.
One last thing, I have just 2 places left on my Stampers 6 virtual hostess club, message me to join in and you could have your FREE catalogue before next week!

Last Chance to Order... It's This Week!

Hello,
Yes, this Friday is your last chance to order from the Last Chance List and some items from the mini catalogue too (messsage me to find out which are going!) There's quite a lot of things gone forever now too!
I am going to share with you another little card I have made with Strength and Hope, I love this set, the butterfly is just gorgeous and so easy to cut out too :-)
Love these little butterflies, I inked them in the NEW In Colour Wisteria Wonder and added pretty Basic Pearls to the centres
I devised the side stepper measurements myself the other day, do you like??
Well, that's handy as I have photographed a quick tutorial with all the measurements and will be posting it tomorrow! Yay!
So, don't forget, this week is the last week for items from the last chance list, EMAIL me with your orders asap plus a FREE NEW catalogue with any orders over £45 too!
I will be back tomorrow with the mini tutorial.

New Catalogue Class Sneak Peeks, Day 1

Hello!
Today I am going to play with paper allll day! Well, after homework with the kids anyway ;-)
I have got 4 days of New Catalogue card classes next week starting Saturday and so over the next few days I will be sharing the projects we will be making at this class with you all. I am FULL on the Monday (3rd) but still have one or two spaces on the Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, message me if you would like to join us for a fun morning :-)
So this is the first card we will be making, and it used loads of NEW products!
I have to tell you it was totally inspired by THIS card! I have changed it around a bit but as you will see it  really is just a bit :-)
3 "pennants" were punched from DSP to make the tree and the scallop circle backing? from the NEW pennant die from the new catty!
and an arty angle to finish
Well, that's it for today, I'm off to rally the kids to get their homework finished then we can all have a nice day playing ;-)
Stampin' Hugs for today,

NEW Stampers 6 starting in October

**STICKY POST, SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE IDEAS**
***ONLY 2 SPACES LEFT, RESERVE YOURS NOW!!**
How would you like your very own copy of the NEW Catalogue for the 1st of October??
and FREE too?? Yes? Great, because I am starting a NEW Stampers 6 Club in October when the fabby new Stampin' Up! Catalogue comes out :-D
How does it work? Well, you commit to spending just £25 per month for 6 months from any current UK catalogue and for one of those months (chosen at random at the beginning of the club) YOU will be the virtual "hostess", no we won't all be coming round for a workshop (unless you want us to ;-)) but you will receive all the hostess benefits that month!
A great way to purchase a little of what you love each month and still get hostess perks too.
Post will be at cost and I will also send, each month, a "kit" for you to make a card with full instructions, as if you have been to a workshop with me!
If this sounds like something you would be interested in then please EMAIL me to reserve your place asap!

Week 26 with Simply Stampin@ Challenges

Hello and Happy Saturday to you all!
I am soooo glad it's the weekend, mostly because I am not working this weekend and I am really hoping to get some paper time in there sometime ;-)
Anyway, it's time for another Simply Stampin' Challenge and this week it is a colour challenge,
Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla
I decided to make a simple Christmas card this week, I seem to have Christmas on my mind since I had 3 days of Christmas Stamp-a-Stacks last week along with festive music and mince pies etc. too! Lol!
So, I did make a boo boo and used Whisper White, just don't look too closely and you would hardly notice ;-)
and yummy Choc Chip Satin ribbon, I did spray the front with shimmer mist to finish but you can only spot it a little a bit by the bow?
This cute card would be so easy to make in multiples, a simple and pretty card but this stamp set "Gifted" is retiring, the updated list is HERE, plus it has 25% off too!! so if you want your very own then please email me asap to place you order :-) Don't forget if you place an order over £45 this month I will send you a FREE catalogue too!
And if you would like a little bit of Stampin' Up! yummy each month and the hostess benefits one of those months too then why not join my Stampers 6 club, more details HERE
Right, I'm off to spend the day tidying the garden (so I can craft guilt free tomorrow!)
Have a great Saturday whatever you are up to,

I LOVE my job!!

Hello!
I have had a very busy week this week, hence my lack of blogging! Sorry for that lovely readers :-)
I had 3 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack classes this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with 11 lovely ladies.
We had a wonderful time making THESE cards, singing Christmas songs and eating Mince Pies and Quality Street, it really was just like Christmas except for the tree ;-) If you would like to join us for the next class New catalogue class is on the st, 3rd, 4th and 5th October or the next Christmas Stamp-a-Stack on the 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th October then please message me on sarah-janerae at sky dot com to book your place, please hurry though as all dates are filling up fast and spaces are limited to just 6 and 5 per class respectively.
Anyway, so why do I love my job so much today then?? Well, the lovely Shirley was chatting at last fortnights class about a "friendship" cake she had received and made a few times and when she came to me on Wednesday she had bought me a little pot with the beginnings of the cake in it! How sweet! Here it is in the bowl, bubbling away
with a sheet of printed instructions too, Yum!
I was thrilled but then when I got in from my other job much later that night, much to my surprise I found this on my kitchen table!
I peeked inside
to find these beautiful candle holders
How gorgeous!! I was thrilled! and truly touched by the Ladies kindness!
Thank-you so much to all of the lovely ladies for coming to class but especially to Shirley, Cate and Emma for my lovely gifts! *mwah*
What a wonderful "job" being a demonstrator is, I have made so many new friends I would never have known and for that I am very thankful.
If you would like to make new friends and turn your hobby into a business then please message me for more details on joining SU! with me :-)
Right, I am off to get ready for next weeks class but I will be back tomorrow with my Simply Stampin' Challenge card too,
Thanks for stopping by today,
