Another Wedding Card

Afternoon folks,
Hope you are all enjoying this fantastic bank holiday weather, Wooo Hoooo!!! Sorry I just ran out of time to blog before we went away for the weekend and what a lovely time we all had in Essex, shame it wasn't the best weather but it was just lovely to meet up with our dear friends,
Home to get ready for the new school term, I don't know about you but I am not looking forward to it, we have had a fantastic summer and I am soooo going to miss the kiddies when they go back:0(
Anyway enough rabbiting, onto the card....

This was for the same friend as the other days card, but for her daughter to give to the happy couple

I have used the very yummy "Sweet Always" papers (again) for the background and to paper piece the dress, (both in my share, see side bar for details) with a Stamping Bella image which I have layered on the bow and used glossy accents on.
I started this card with this weeks Mojo sketch but in the end the extra panel just didn't suit it so I have decided not to enter it.
Sentiment from Craftwork Cards, Heart punch is Martha Stewart :0)
Fancy side view, Ribbon, Card and Paper is SU! and available through me
Sneak Peeks coming soon of the very eagerly anticipated **NEW** SU! Catalogue
Right I'm off to enjoy some more of the yummy weather, Long may it last...

Stampers 10

**This post is pinned to the top, please scroll down for new posts :0)** Hello,
I am looking to set up a stampers 10 group :0). Here's how it works,

I need 10 people to start this club and they would all need to commit to spending a minimum of £15 per month (plus p+p) on Stampin' Up! goods through me, for a total of 10 months.
In return you would receive regular offers from both Stampin' Up and myself, also every other month you would receive a challenge kit to make a card or 3d item which you can then post onto a limited access blog so you can share your creation with your other stampers 10 club members.
In addition to this you would also be the "hostess" for one of the 10 months and as such receive the hostess benefits which would be at least a Level 1 hostess gift plus a minimum of £15 to spend on whatever you like in the catalogue.
You do not have to host a party in your home for this club and so it doesn't matter where you live if you wish to join, you don't have to have a blog either.
I would also send you a FREE catalogue (worth 4.95) for you to browse at your leisure and choose which goodies you would like each month.

If you are interested in joining my club please e mail me on sarah-janerae@sky.com for further information or if you have any questions you would like me to answer.
Look forward to hearing from you soon,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Rose is a Rose Wedding Card

Hello again,
As promised, here I am, straight back with a wedding card which was ordered by a friend, the colours she wanted were pinks, no other specifics requested and this is what I made...

I used the lovely Rose is a Rose set in Pretty in Pink for the base colour and Regal Rose for the top details, Certainly celery for the leaves which I stamped off to make paler in the base layer and "full strength" for the top!!
I cut out each element and layered them up to look like a bouquet (hopefully) I then stuck one end down and used foam pads under the other end to give some dimension.

Dazzling Diamonds applied with a glue pen,

Wire and Pearl beads, Pearl card, cuttlebug folder, Gem Letters, all from stash,
Well that's all for today, I am away for the weekend but have another wedding card to show you, which I will try to get scheduled for tomorrow, before I go to work tonight,
Thanks for popping by and for all your kind words earlier in the week too,
Take Care

I'm still here!!!!

Hello,
I have just popped on to say that I am still around, I know I haven't been on here much since I came back from my hols (which were fantastic btw, thanks for asking:0))
Unfortunately, the last week I was away, we had a close family bereavement. The funeral was yesterday and it has obviously been a very difficult first week back.
Anyway, I will hopefully get some mojo back and soon be back in the land of blog, thanks for your understanding,
Take care,

Wheely Great cards ;0)

Hello and welcome to another scheduled post ;0)
I am not sure how I will take to not looking round your blogs and shh, don't say it too loud, but NO crafting??!!!! I'm sure I will miss checking on you all...

Anyway I joined in a swap before I left for my hols on ILWS with some other demos, the inspiration for the swap was to make a card using one of the fab wheels which SU sell. This is what I came up with. I made Joy fold cards and water coloured the images with a blender pen and Ink Pads, the wheel is called Neighbourhood, I also decoupaged one of the houses for a bit more of an accent,

I used the yummy Summer Picnic papers, sentiment from Loads of Love Accessories, flower from Seeing Spots, 5/8 " Old Olive grosgrain Ribbon.
Although this was probably not one of my smartest moves because although I loved joining in with this swap well, I just had soooo much to do before going away I probably could have done without the added pressure of malking an extra 9 cards :0) IYKWIM! anyway I did enjoy this swap and must make a point of using these fab wheels more often, so thanks Alex for organising this :0) Here they all are together...
=

Thats all for today, but I will be home soon :0)
Take Care, Hugs S.J. xx

Punch Cupcake

Hello,
Hope you are all doing well.I have a card today using the punch cupcake we made at my Crazy for Cupcakes class a few weeks ago (although at the time of writing this it is tomorrow, how freaky is this, not to mention actually quite hard to do)
I made a couple of extra cupcakes when planning for the class and then joined them together with foam pads with some fine fishing wire between to make a suspension card,

Here it is open so you can see the cake movement, Pearls from stash,

and here is the inside

Papers used are Sweet Always (again!) stamps are from the Crazy for Cupcakes set, Scallop border, Tab and Scallop Circle punches used,

That's it for today, Thanks for popping by

Ambers card

Hello again,
I hope the weather is holding out for you in the U.K.
I have the card I made for my sister for her birthday which is actually on 6th August but as we are away then she will have had it already, before we went. I made it the same shape as the cupcake one from my class. I find when I make one card I remember how much I like them and tend to make 2 or 3 the same.

Regal Rose card base, Sweet always papers, flower from the All in the Family Accessories, Sentiment from Occasional Greetings set,

I added spots of Glossy Accents to the umbrella and to the edges of her boots

Here is the fancy side view,

Thanks for looking and see you all soon,

Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
