How to die cut an image larger than your Stampin' Up! Framelits -Tutorial

Hello!
As promised I am here today with a little tutorial to share how I managed to get my balloons over the top of the framelit edge! I hope it helps some-one out there :-)
To start, lay the framelit over your image, making sure it is correctly positioned all around
mark with a pencil either side of the overhanging image, inside the framelit
cut exactly along the pencil line and then around the image
*Top Tip-I like to leave a small white border, as shown, I think it looks better and is definitely more forgiving if you wobble when cutting ;-)
pull the image over hang over the top of the framelit, ensuring the bottom edges are correctly positioned and die cut as normal,
once it is cut out, rub firmly with a bone folder on the reverse to get rid of most of the crease from the die
adhere to your card after inking the edges if desired.
I hope this helps you to get the best from your framelits and if you would like to order any then please do get in touch sarah-janerae@sky.com  ;-)

Stampin' Up! Pedal Presents and Framelits

Hello there,
I have another card today using Pedal Presents, loving this cute little bike!
I used a base of Pear Pizazz with Nursery Nest DSP,
{{which is in the 4 for 3 promotion this month too ;-)}}
See here I used a framelit to die cut out the bike, but.... my balloons were too tall! Hmmm, come back tomorrow for a mini tutorial on how to get around this little problem ;-)
and an arty angle to finish today's post
Right, I have a night off work tonight and so I am making tea early(ish) and going to have a nice relaxing night tonight :-))))
Thanks for stopping by today

Stampin' Up! Pedal Presents and join my team!

Hello there,
I had a lovely day yesterday with some of my brilliant team, we chatted and made cards, ate and chatted some more! If you would like to find out more about being in my team then why not drop me a line? sarah-janerae@sky*dot*com I would love to talk through any questions or queries you have about being a SU! demo, the BEST job in the world! :-)
Anyway, Angela recently promoted and so I made her a little card just to say well done, I used the pretty Pedal presents and the embedded embossing technique
A lush white satin bow, I made a little video tutorial HERE
I used a blender pen with my ink pads to colour the bike, highlighting with my white craft ink at the end,
and finally an arty angle to finish
I hope you like today's post, I have class this morning so I'd better be off,
 Thanks for stopping by today

Stampin' Up Aviary Owls

Hello!
I have had a lovely class this morning making mens cards :-) and before I take the little ones out this afternoon I thought I would pop on here to share a girly card with you.
These cards use the same design as the book from the other day. 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches make the clouds and this one has the cute hearts embossing folder (Adorning Accents)  used behind
The little owls are from Aviary and they are sat on a line from Little Additions, Clouds are from Up, Up and Away, I am getting loads of use from these clouds ;-)
I also made it in Marina Mist with a Pool Party front too
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's cards,
Before I go though I just wanted to say I have just 2 places left on my stampers 6 (virtual hostess) club, see THIS POST for more details
and then message me to join the fun :-)

Up, Up and Away and Aviary by Stampin' Up!

hello there,
I hope you have enjoyed the bank holiday weekend I have been having a wonderful time with the family and so my little blog has been a tad pushed out! ;-)
we spent a lovely (if a little chilly) day at Windsor Castle on Monday, now we didn't just choose Windsor to spend the day at random, my upline and good friend Jules was at Legoland for the weekend so we decided to meet up in the evening for tea. Laura (my sideline) and her family also live down south and so she brought her family along too! And what a lovely time we all had! All the kids got on like a house on fire and all the grown ups did OK too ;-)
Now, as there was 8 kids, who didn't know each other, so I like to take something for them to do. I went with a notebook and decorated pen (hangman, drawing etc...) and of course I had to make them look pretty, so 7 boys received these (and they kept them occupied for ages too!)
I punched the "clouds" using a 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches, DSP is retired form last years catty Hot air balloon is from Up, Up and Away
and I made Zoe a girly version, this one used Twitterpated DSP (on promo this month ;-)) with little Aviary Owls,
Now, it was Julies son Ross' birthday Tuesday so I made a card for him to open as he was away from home ;-) a simple little card to match the note pads
3d balloons,
and a little decoration inside to finish
Well, a lovely day was had by all. We always say it but we must get together more often!
Right, I have a list as long as your arm again today so I'm off,
Have a great day and thanks for visiting here

Stampin' Up Baby Prints Cards

Hello,
I am back today with some Baby cards I have made, I never seem to have any baby cards when I need them so I decided to make a couple of each in both boy and girl versions. I love this fab new set baby Prints, so cute and I will also be using it at my NEW scrapbooking class, more details on this coming shortly!!
Anyway, I used the flirtatious DSP for the girly version
and once I stamped the hands I did them again with Versamark, these cards smell good too with Melon Scented Embossing powder :-) So cool!
Inside I inked the footprints and stamped them off once to create a much paler shadow effect
and plenty of depth to the cards too
I like to make baby cards a bit special as most people actually keep them,
I hope these would be well received, I just need someone to have a baby now ;-)
Right, I'm off for today, have a great day whatever you are up to

SU! May Stampers 6 Club Card

Hello there,
I have a pretty card to share with you today, this is the kit I sent to my lovely ladies in my Stampers 6 club last month, I always send a kit with each parcel you receive from me (in place of having an actual workshop) so you can have all the fun and benefits of hosting a workshop without actually hosting one! Win, Win!
So this is the kit I sent...
and this is the card my Ladies should have ended up with? Or a very similar version at least!!
and on the Stampers 6 club blog there were step-by -step picture instructions to make this card, with my cheats and top tips (if there are any ;-)) each month too
So, if you fancy
*building up your SU! stash each month,
*grabbing great hostess benefits for each slot you take (you can have as many as you like at £25 spend per slot, per month) and
*also a cute little card kit too dropping through your letterbox
then message me today to take a position in my new club starting this June!
Thanks for visiting today and I hope to hear from you soon,
Stampin' Hugs,

I am sure you are madly in love with so much of the goodness in the new summer mini catalogue as I am and you want, *ahem* need  it all? Or at least rather a lot of it ;-)
So, I am starting this NEW stampers 6 club and as a part of the club you will receive a copy of the main Idea Book and catalogue and of course the NEW summer mini catalogue too.
For 6 months your commitment is to spend a minimum of £25 (plus post at cost to you) of goods from any current SU! catalogue and each month with your order I will include a special kit for you to make a "workshop" card or 3d project at home. I also am committed to placing your orders timely and sending them out to you asap, I want to give you great customer service :-)
All this but not forgetting that for one of the months YOU will be the hostess, this means that we will all come round for a party.... Not really, just JOKING you!! It just means you will be eligible to receive the hostess benefits for your month (decided at random at the beginning of the club) a MINIMUM of 25 "hostess pounds" You can of course take more than one spot and commit to multiples of £25 if you would like too, this would give you multiple hostess months ;-) Yay!
