Using Butterfly Basics by Stampin' Up! for a Black and Gold Card

Hello!
I made a last minute decision on Thursday afternoon to go out today to Make it! craft show in Farnborough today! I'll be sure to take plenty of pics so please do pop over to my Facebook Page or Instagram if you want to see how our day is going ;-)
OK, so today's card uses the fabulous Butterfly Basics stamp set and dies. This was a card we made at stamp-a-stack this week and we used a classic colour combo of Sahara Sand and Basic Black with a touch of Gold to make this card...
After stamping the collage background I added a little white thick twine bow to top the sahara sand lace along with a Vellum tag sentiment.
The gorgeous butterfly die, I sponged a little gold ink along the centre using a dauber for a little extra something :-)
And a side view to finish. I always love this colour combo as it's just so classy and elegant. This stamp and die set is just perfect to use with it.
OK, I'll add the ingredients to make this card later as I'm off out now!
Thanks as ever for looking today :-)

Moustache Shaker Card using Stampin' Up! Framelits

Hello,
Sorry I'm late again today! We've only just got indoors from eating out this evening to celebrate our eldest son Josh turning 18 today. We had a lovely meal out with the family and everyone had a brilliant time. I'm so proud of the young man he is becoming :-)
Oh, enough of the mushy stuff! I have a card to share with you today that I made last week for hubbys birthday. I actually ended up making another one to give him (you can see that HERE) as I was a bit unsure of this. I felt that maybe this one was maybe a bit dark, what do you think?
I made shaker sections using the moustache framelit
This die and sentiment are from the  Crazy About You and Hello You bundle, and you can save 15% if purchased together too!
I only glued the ends of the happy down so it had plenty of dimension too.
I heat embossed the 'Birthday' part of the sentiment using gold powder
And a side view to finish tonight. Now I see this card again on here I think I might like it again...
He he! Ah well!
Thanks as ever for looking today. I hope you enjoyed the card?
I'll be back tomorrow with more.

Using Stampin' Up's Guy Greetings and Birthday Surprise

Hello,
I'm here today with a slightly different looking card for you. It's a card I made with a combination of stamp sets which I heat embossed straight onto this fab brick effect paper from the Adventure Bound paper stack, I love this paper! I used both Guy Greetings and Birthday Surprise to make this card for a man...
I used smoky slate embossing powder to tie both these sentiments together as the "Happy Birthday" is from  Birthday Surprise with the smaller "To a Classic" is from Guy Greetings.
This chap is also from Guy Greetings. I sponged him and all the embossed sections with crumb cake ink to make them all *pop* a bit more
and I finished with a few wooden stars from my stash.
Thanks so much for looking today!
I have another busy day tomorrow with my biggest boys 18th birthday celebrations :-)
Back tomorrow with more...
