Using Stampin' Up's Celebrate Today for a Christening Button Balloon... or Two!

Hello!
And happy Saturday to you!
I have a pair of cards to share with you today that I made for two different people who hubby works with. They both requested cards for Christenings this week and so I decided to make the same style but simply alter the names and colours to suit each person.
I used the stamps and dies from Celebrate Today to make these cards....

So, lets start with the boy version shall we?
This bunting stamp and die is part of the set
To make this button balloon I die cut Soft Sky card and topped it with buttons (adhering with Crystal Effects) then covered it all in a generous helping of Crystal Effects sprinkled with glitter while it was still wet.
Now, a couple of TOP TIPS:
*It will take hours to dry, probably overnight in fact, so this is not a card you can make last minute!
*I found it easiest to start with the die and lay out the different sized buttons so they fit in the space well, take a quick picture on my phone then once I had die cut the card shape I referred back to my picture for placement.
*Work on a Non-stick craft sheet so you can easily remove once dry.
*Check after 20 minutes or so that the Crystal effects has not run over the edges as once it's dry it's too hard to trim.
*Pinch the glitter and sprinkle over to get this effect.
I added a stamped off image of the balloon inside
 I adore these button balloons!
OK, onto the pink version, it's the exact same card but in Pink Pirouette
inside
and that gorgeous button balloon again *sigh*  :-)
and together again to finish today
Well, I hope you liked today's cards?? I don't know about you but the more I use this set, the more I love it!
Thanks for looking today

*Please note* I used buttons I have had in my stash for years for these cards but I have included the links here to the very lovely SU! Sweet Dreams and Subtles button packs which would work perfectly ;-)
