Sparkly Emboss Resist using Sprinkles Of Life by Stampin' Up!

Hi there,
I've had a fab time at class the last couple of days sharing lots of new products and ideas with my ladies. We are always looking for new people to join us in our fun and friendly group. For info, dates and times please GO HERE.
OK, today's card uses a emboss resist technique with the "Sprinkles of Life" stamp set giving it quite  a different look don't you think?
Stamping each element using versamark and then embossing it using Iridescent Ice embossing powder before moving onto the next part of the image.
I then added washes over each image using ink pads and a waterbrush.
Love these wooden elements and the gold twine.
TIP: I popped a couple of glue dots to the back of the word and added the thread to these then added tombow glue to the rest of the word before adding it to the card.
 Side view ;-)
and a top view to finish today.
I hope you have enjoyed this very different (to yesterday's) version of using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set today?
I'll be back tomorrow with something new, 'till then

CAS Ice-Cream using Sprinkles of Life. The RMHC stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hello,
Super quick post tonight as I'm off to work in a few minutes but I have a neat little CAS card for you before I head out!
Earlier this week I stamped a few of these clouds/ice-cream/cupcake/tree toppers onto watercolour card stock and heat embossed them in white. I'm sure I will have more to share with you using these toppers as the days go on too ;-)
I wanted to make this CAS card using the Rose Red coloured topper and came up with this...
I coloured this waffle cone in Tip Top Taupe and added the whole Ice -Cream on a new "Lots of Labels" framelit die cut piece of thick white card.
These Greetings Thinlits are the cutest font.
I die cut this from some Rose Red card, adhered it and then coated it in Crystal Effects
Ooooh, look at these new "Perfect Accents" little adhesive sprinkles. I *heart* these! And they're just £4.75 for 75!
There's plenty of dimension on this all white card.
And a top view to finish today :-)
OK, that's me done for today, I hope you like this card?
I'll be back tomorrow with more but if you want to see more of what I'm up to you can follow me over on Instagram or Facebook.  You'll then get to see sneak peeks of what I'm working on before I get a chance to blog them here :-)

Saturday Sharing - A New Video Tutorial - A5 Mini Milk Carton using Stampin' Up! supplies

Hello and Happy Saturday to you!
I managed to make this little video for you yesterday after chatting on a thread on facebook about homemade Milk Cartons. I mentioned I had designed an A4 and an A5 version some years ago for a class. You may have seen I made a video for the A4 one I uploaded a few weeks ago (Find that HERE) and so I went ahead and made another one for the A5 version too :-)
I used the new hostess stamp set A Whole lot of Lovely which can be found on page 179 of the new catty and made both a Mint Macaron and a Smoky Slate version, take a look...
This little flower is in the set as well as the sentiment. I stamped it all over the amazing NEW Whisper White THICK cardstock!! Swoon! I already love this stuff :-)
OK, so here is a closer look at the Mint Macaron version...
I added another new product: Blushing Bride Sequin Trim
And here is the Smoky Slate version you see me make in the video..
Here I added (more new) Silver sequin trim tied with Smoky Slate thick twine to the top.
I think it's pretty safe to assume there's going to be a lot of "New" going on round here in the next few weeks and months..... lol!
And a top view for you. The sentiment is perfectly sized to be cut out using the circles framelits :-) Did you notice the lush silver thread under the sentiment?
That can now be found on Page 159 of the new catty
and just for size reference here are the A4 and A5 cartons next to each other :-)
Right, lets get on with the video shall we???
and finally, a few more photos to finish today.
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's bonus video and have a go at making these cute little cartons :-)
If you want to get a hold of this stamp set for free then why not consider joining my NEW Stamp club starting in just a couple of weeks. More details can be found HERE.
Thanks for looking today.
