Up, Up and Away and Aviary by Stampin' Up!

hello there,
I hope you have enjoyed the bank holiday weekend I have been having a wonderful time with the family and so my little blog has been a tad pushed out! ;-)
we spent a lovely (if a little chilly) day at Windsor Castle on Monday, now we didn't just choose Windsor to spend the day at random, my upline and good friend Jules was at Legoland for the weekend so we decided to meet up in the evening for tea. Laura (my sideline) and her family also live down south and so she brought her family along too! And what a lovely time we all had! All the kids got on like a house on fire and all the grown ups did OK too ;-)
Now, as there was 8 kids, who didn't know each other, so I like to take something for them to do. I went with a notebook and decorated pen (hangman, drawing etc...) and of course I had to make them look pretty, so 7 boys received these (and they kept them occupied for ages too!)
I punched the "clouds" using a 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches, DSP is retired form last years catty Hot air balloon is from Up, Up and Away
and I made Zoe a girly version, this one used Twitterpated DSP (on promo this month ;-)) with little Aviary Owls,
Now, it was Julies son Ross' birthday Tuesday so I made a card for him to open as he was away from home ;-) a simple little card to match the note pads
3d balloons,
and a little decoration inside to finish
Well, a lovely day was had by all. We always say it but we must get together more often!
Right, I have a list as long as your arm again today so I'm off,
Have a great day and thanks for visiting here
