Happy Saturday to you!
I'm going for totally honest with you today and this is one of those "I must have it, immediatly" sets that I have not used anyhere near enough!! Today's card is one that I started months ago, literally, *-*
Let me start from the beginning. I made THIS card around the same time as I wanted to share two ways of using this set. The first card was stamped and masked, almost flat and a very soft look. But for this card I wanted to use the dies and a mask (for the bricks) and wanted a much brighter, bolder and more dimensional card.
I added the card layers and the die cut shapes and all I did to finish it this week was add the lamps and a front door mat with the sentiment. Such small finishing touches but I finally felt it was finished so I could photograph it! What do you think...
I love the colours in this wreath and the way it pops off the card front with mini dimensionals.
I used a blender pen to add the colour to the lantern but aquapainters for the larger areas like the door and path and a sponge for the masked bricks.
Wouldn't this make a lovely welcome card for a new neighbour?
Do you ever get that? It doesn't matter how often you look at a card it just never feels quite finished? Tell me I'm not alone!
I'm happy with this now, hopefully you like it too? Let me know in the comments :-)
Right, I have to buy paint for the bathroom today. Yes, more decision making for me ;-)
Enjoy your Saturday!
