Bird Banter with Stampin' Blends.

Hi and welcome!
Today's card uses the (retired) Bird Banter stamp set. Did you purchase this? Well, I figured I would still share this with you so if you managed to get hold of it while it was available then lucky you! I loved it :-D
So, we actually made this card in one of my Blends classes and I couldn't choose just one bird so I went with two >-<

 The little background spots are made with the same colour blends pens topped with drops using the fine tip glue pen.

 To colour this parrot I used the following pens:
Light and Dark: Coral, Daffodil and Bermuda Bay plus light Smoky Slate and a colourless blender for the face.

 And for this cute little Cockatiel I used Light and Dark Daffodil, Light Smoky Slate and the colourless Blender pen.

 Of course I used Light and Dark Old Olive for the leaves too :-)

Finish with a little gold thread and top with a sentient to finish.
So, I hope you like today's card? Quite a few of the Blends pens are back in stock with more due to arrive shortly (customs issues are delaying them, I believe), I'm looking forward to adding to my collection!
