Hello there,
It's time for a colour challenge with Inspire. Create. Challenges and it's a cracker of a combo, see...
I decide to go down the Christmas route again today and used the Spirited Snowmen stamps and, making the most of the Sahara Sand element, I tried out some no line watercolouring ;-)
I stamped the image in Sahara Sand then used coordinating ink pads from the colour challenge and my aqua painter to colour the image, only adding a little basic grey for the hats. I then used Layering Square Framelits to mat the image with glimmer paper and Lipstick card.
I used the holly from the set down the side of the card front using both the first and second generation stamping in Sahara Sand ink.
I also wrapped a little ombre coral ribbon around before topping with the image and adding the white heat embossed sentiment to finish.
I just love the vintage look that this card has, don't you? And this stamp set is so great for this style of colouring :-)
For much more inspiration please head over to the Inspire. Create. Challenges blog and see the fantastic makes the DT have created. TIP: I've seen the creations and they are Fab-u-lous!
Thanks so much for looking today, I'll be back soon with a new card.
