Fable Friends Bunny with Floral Headband

Hello!
Today's card uses the Fable Friends stamp set again and this time I couldn't resist making a Bunny with a floral headband! I loved this idea when I saw a card using this by Nicole Kunzig on Instagram (search: wertschatz to find her) and just had to make one! So here it is...
I stamped my bunny using staz on ink onto watercolour card and coloured her in with a blender pen and ink pads, adding the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Grapefruit Grove using a retired punch but (I thought later) I could have use flowers from the Needle and Thread framelits :-)
I added a cute frame made with the stitched rectangle dies and popped it up for speed with foam strips, they are so quick and easy!
I finished it with a layered and heat embossed birthday sentiment so of course I just had to give this card to my daughter for her birthday!
Well, I do hope you liked today's card?
Just a quick reminder before you go that Sale-a-Bration finishes in just a few short days (31st March) so if you are thinking of joining SU! or just want to make the most of a free gift with every £45 spent (and why not?) then remember to order/join soon ;-)
I'll be back soon with another make but 'till then, happy stampin'

Alpine Adventure Christmas Sledge Card

Hi there,
Today's make uses the very lovely Alpine Adventure bundle to make this sleigh card. I really love this bundle and I honestly haven't used it anywhere nearly enough yet! Anyway, I hear snow is on it's way so I'll have more time and also an excuse to make more mini sledges...
I actually used quite a lot of other different Christmas products for the rest of this card, which I didn't quite realise until I started listing them for this post :-) including some of the free papers from the  October (I think it was) promotion as well as the Tin Tile embossing folder and some of the very lovely Galvanised Metallic paper, let's see...
I was trying to use up leftover pieces from different projects I had hanging around on my desk including some leftover tags from the Tags and Tidings set we used for my Christmas card class.
I layered up the sledge three times and added a mini jingle bell (retired) with twine.
Oooh, I'll just mention that this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine is out now and as well as loads of fun ideas I made a card using this stamp/die combo as one of set of four quick Christmas cards in there ;-)
And I added a sentiment from Merry Christmas To All to finish today :-)
So, that's all for today, I'll be back soon with another make but 'till then,
Happy stampin'!

Two More Cards With Make Amazing Cards Magazine!

Hello!
I recently received my copy of Make Amazing Cards, which is in the shops now :-) Inside, I did a "10 ideas" feature, using some of the ice-cream papers and toppers which are supplied in the magazine. This magazine also comes with lots of other products including embossing folders, lots of papers & toppers and a whole set of stamps!
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to play with the stamps for my feature.... until now!
I had a few hours free and had a couple of cards in my mind when I saw the stamp set and this was the end result...
This cute pink card uses the heart hot air balloon stamp which I heat embossed in white onto watercolour paper before watercolouring with an aqua painter. I used the new Powder Pink ink for the balloon with Melon Mambo hearts and some new Soft Sky ribbon to finish it off.
All extra supplies used are linked at the end of the post :-)
This fun card uses the Sundae stamp from the magazine, again heat embossed onto watercolour paper. I made a fun emboss resist background with the (also new) Lemon Lime Twist for the wash. You may be able to see I also added clear wink of stella to each tiny ice cream on the background for a subtle sparkle.
And here they both are together again to finish!
I hope you liked my watercoloured makes?
This fun magazine is out now, packed with amazing papers and stamps as well as tons of ideas for using the included products :-) I'd love to see your makes with these products!
That's all from me for today, I'll be back soon with a new card! Thanks so much for looking!
