Floral Statements in Rich Razzleberry

Hello there,
Today I have a card made using the Floral Statements stamp set which I coloured with my blends (again.) Yes, I love these pens! I must admit I turn to them more often than not for colouring lately, have you tried them yet?
So, I used the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive pens for this card...
This is a super fun image to colour and easy too as there is already shading in the stamped image to follow with your darker toned pens before blending with the lighter colour.
Adding a Blushing Bride card strip wrapped with a little Fresh Fig ribbon below to balance out the image.
Layer onto Blushing Bride card before mounting onto Rich Razzleberry card base, adding a few clear sequins to finish.
This stamp set is so pretty, you can see my other makes with this set HERE if you'd like.

Floral Statements using the Stamparatus

Hello and welcome to the weekend and todays makes!
Today's card is another I made four of at the same time (again :-)) and today I used the Floral Phrases stamp set. I love this pretty sentiment set! For this make I used Pink Pirouette (which is just retired) but you could easily swap it out for Powder Pink and teamed it with Tranquil Tide to make these cards...
I used my Stamparatus to stamp the image in Memento black ink then again using Versamark before heat embossing it with clear powder so they were super easy to watercolour.
I used an aqua painter and matching ink pads to colour, letting the first coat dry (speed it up with a heat tool if you like) before adding a second lot of watercolour on thick white card.
These cards make such a fab, bold statement but because it's just one stamp they are surprisingly quick to make! Bonus!
Well, I do hope you liked todays cards? I'll be back tomorrow with all the SU! news for July!

Using Stampin' Up's Floral Statements on Crumb Cake

Hi there,
This card is one we made at team training recently and it's fair to say it received a mixed reaction - popular with some but not so with much the non-colourers in the group ;-) But at least everyone liked the end result. Phew! As you know, I do love to colour so I (naturally) think this set is just fab-u-lous! I had wanted to try this whitewash technique with this set ever since I first had it so lets take a look....
I made a little photo tutorial HERE a couple of years ago but for this version I coloured over the white ink with the Berry Burst and Tranquil Tide ink pads using a blender pen.
TIP: Keep the Berry Burst to the areas where you want it only as it stains the white embossing powder and dab the excess regularly. You can be less careful with the Tranquil Tide as it's pigment doesn't seem so strong as to stain.
I finished by adding the image to a Berry Burst card base and dotting a few sequins on too.
So, that's all from me for today, thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you liked the card :-)

Using Stampin' Up's Floral Statements to say "Hello"

Hello!
So, on Instagram the other day I did promise that the next card I'd share on here would be my friends birthday card but unfortunately I have been a little under the weather and so I haven't had a chance to edit the pictures yet. But, I do still have a card to share with you (one that I made with new products, too) so all's not lost!
I love, love, loved this Floral Statements stamp set as soon as I saw it in the new catty. My inspiration came from the navy gingham ribbon (also new) and the many tops I've seen in the shops this summer in gingham with bold embroidered flowers on them...
I stamped the image in Navy and then again using versamark before heat embossing with clear E.P.
You can easily do this using a stamp-a-ma-jig or by using a stamp platform if you have one :-) I then coloured the flowers in Berry Burst and leaves are in Lemon Lime Twist.
Yummy navy gingham ribbon and a few mini metallic sequins and this card was done!
I loved making this and I can't wait to play with it some more!
Thanks so much for looking today,
