3d Flower Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up's Bouquet Bigz Die.

Hello!
Get me! Two videos in a week!!! Luckily I managed to get my lovely hubby, despite him getting home extra late last night, to run through and add titles to this little video for you after I promised it to you yesterday. Isn't he a darling?! :-)
In this video I'm sharing how I made these two lovely flowers using the Bouquet Bigz die for this card and bag combo...

I'm so happy to share this tutorial with you. It was an idea that came to me very quickly, once I had gotten round to unwraping this die of course ;-)
Take a look and please remember to click the thumbs up if you enjoy it and also feel free to Subscribe to my channel on YouTube to keep up to date with all the new tutorials I'm adding ;-) Enjoy!
Thanks for watching!

3d Flower Card and Gift Bag using the Bouquet Bigz Die by Stampin' Up!

Hi there and welcome to today's post!
I have a matching pair with a card and gift bag to share with you today which I made for class this week using my (until then) unused die: Bouquet Bigz. I know this die is supposed to be for making whole flowers in a bunch (like this on the cover of the S/S catty) but if you have been reading my blog for a while you will know I love to add big, 3d flowers to my cards, bags and boxes too!
So lets start with a photo of both the card and gift bag today...
Again, I have kept the card quite simple so the flower can be the star of the show...
I used the Sale-a-Bration DSP Best Year Ever (which I totally forgot the name of during filming ;-)) for the card background and the flower too,
Sentiment is from the Butterfly Basics set stamped in Calypso Coral
This *should* fit in an envelope but it would probably be better protected in a boxelope...
Oooh, I will make you a little video on how to make those also!
I also added a banner in Gold Heart Vellum for the flower to sit on on the card and a few rhinestones finish this card.
And the bag, this is a slightly larger sized flower but all will be much clearer with the video tomorrow (I hope!) ;-)
This sentiment is from a retired stamp set but it's one of few that I won't part with as it's just so useful.
and you can see the depth of the flower here
I'm giving mine to my Mum for her birthday but wouldn't it be a fab set for Mother's day too??
OK, lots of photos today so if you're still awake: Well done! ;-)
I'll be back with the full video for you tomorrow,
'Till then,

Happy Mother's Day

Hello!
I'm actually managing to make good on yesterday promise of posting today, it's now 9.45 so I suppose we'll see what time I get finished and posted huh? lol!
So, today's card is the card we made at class this week and I made mine for Mother's Day, I love the large size of this sentiment and the little hearts are the perfect accent.I can post it early as my Mum came to this class and made it so she has most definitely seen this ;-) Lots of my ladies changed out the sentiment though for birthdays, we found that Sassy Salutations was quite a good exchange, a bit smaller but it still worked.
These lovely flowers were not designed by me but by Heike, and she made a fab video tutorial for them, thank-you Heike! They are super easy to make and you need very little equipment other than a couple of scallop circle punches, I used rubbing alcohol with shimmer paint (retired) to spritz mine which gave them a fab sparkle!
This colour combo originally came from a team challenge but I altered it slightly for this card to Primrose Petals, Pistachio Pudding, Smoky Slate and Basic Grey....
...This was so I could make a box for the card and I only had 12x12" card in Primrose,
#makeyourstashworkforyou!
This had to be really deep for the flowers and after much deliberation I came up with this using the Diagonal plate on my score board, did you want me to do a tutorial??
Let me know if you want to see the box but I'm going to finish now while the going's good ;-)
Thanks as ever for looking today,
