Using Stampin' Up's Your Perfect Day for an Anniversary Card

Hello...
...And apologies for my absence, I have had a (rare) few days away from my blog and you lovely followers trying to catch up with the many projects I have currently got on the go ;-). But I am here today with a new card using Your Perfect Day (again!). I am really loving this set, as you may have guessed by all the cards I have shared with you over the last few weeks ;-)
So, this little card I thought would make a perfect Anniversary card for a couple, what do you think...
This yummy gold satin ribbon ties beautiful bows!
again I have heat embossed the cake, this time in gold, and coloured in using blender pens and my (retired) crisp cantaloupe ink pad.
I popped the main panel on dimensionals on a Sahara Sand card base- love this colour combo
adding some flowers (Video Here for how to cup these flowers easily) and pearls to decorate
and a top view to finish today!
Well, I have a few more cards to photograph today and then a whole ton of editing which needs doing before I get to do the fun stuff (play with new stash) so I better crack on so I have something to share with you tomorrow!
If you want extra early sneak peeks of future blog posts please hop over to my Instagram or Facebook page and follow me there because when I'm not blogging I'm usually making!
Thanks for stopping by today

TMT Video: Gold Ribbon Surprise with Your Perfect Day stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
Hopefully you aren't bored with Wedding cards just yet as I've got another one to share with you today! I promise you I will share something a bit different tomorrow though ;-)
I was making this little card for class on Sunday and fiddling with the ribbon trying to get it to lay in the direction I wanted and I had a little surprise discovery - this ribbon curls beautifully, see...
Am I late discovering this? or is this new to you too? Either way it's super pretty, right?
The cake was used again from Your Perfect Day, heat embossed in gold and coloured using the navy ink pad and blender pens
 Top view..

So, lets go see this weeks video! (And I edited it myself, so if it's bad - shhhh....)

and here are a few close up pictures of the box I shared in the video
 Look at those curls!
 Together...
and a little collage to finish :-)
So, I know there were a lot of pictures tonight so if you're still awake then fab and thanks for making it to the end!!
I really hope you have enjoyed tonights post and remember to let me know if you knew this trick with this ribbon or if it's new to you too.

Coastal Cabana Wedding card using Your Perfect Day by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
And welcome to my blog this Sunday. I have had a busy morning this morning doing the dreaded house-work while hubby took the littlest one to cricket where he got two wickets! He was so chuffed!!
So, I have another wedding card to share with you today, again using Your Perfect Day. This card was designed for a lady at hubbys work to give to her friends who wed this weekend. Just in case you wondered I have blacked out their names, that's not part of the design ;-)
I went with a Silver and (retired now) Coastal Cabana colour way...
Satin Ribbon is just the BEST for tying bows! Bow tying Video HERE if you want to see  ;-)
This font gives this card a cool, funky look
The cake was heat embossed using silver powder with just the top edges coloured using a blender pen and ink pad.
I added a stamped off image inside and a sentiment which is also in the set
and a top view to finish today.
Well, today's post is picture heavy but light on words I'm afraid as I'm off now to make the cards for tomorrow's class and then I have a couple of magazine commissions to work on before work tonight.
So, thanks for looking today and I hope you liked the card?
