Charming!

Hello there,
How's your weekend going then? I am trying to take it easy as I have been a bit poorly this week and I just can't seem to shake it off, not good! and I have sooo much to do too including getting ready for the All Day Class I am hosting with my good friend Laura in February SEE HERE for more details, Have you booked your place yet? It should be great fun and we will be making lots of gorgeous projects throughout the day with prizes, a raffle and of course cakes ;-)
Anyway, back to today's card. I used the very sweet Charming stamp set from the new MINI. Now this set is designed to be used for the art inside the gorgeous Simply Adorned range of customisable jewellery but as you will see it is also perfect for cards too..
I have gone for a vintage feel to this card with a soft suede base and vellum card stock over the simply divine FREE Sale-a-bration papers, more details soon... ;-)
this stamp is also in the set and I finished it off with an antique brad
and inside I stamped the circle off once onto grid paper before decorating the outside edges
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's card,
Back tomorrow with some more cardy goodness

Cupcakes ;-)

Hello there,
Apologies for the late posting today, I have had trouble with the Internet this morning, in fact I am really hoping it will post this ;-)
Anyway, I have a cupcake card for you today, LOVING this cute little set! and the fact it has a matching punch, well, that just the icing on the cake for me :-))))
The colour combo I have gone for is Pink Pirouette, Pool Party and a touch of Early Espresso, this very pretty combo is from the clever colour coach
this very sweet sentiment is also in the set adorned with rhinestones,
This two tags die was edged with White craft ink and then the cake was adhered with lots of Dimensionals for depth ;-)
I even added a little cake inside
and finally a little side view of the whole card
I must admit to liking this card quite a lot ;-) I hope you do too! If you would like to order thsi or anything else in the new mini then I am placing an order this weekend, message me to get your order added to it for just £1 postage if you can collect from me :-)
Contact me for info too, even if you live further away, to place an order as post is a maximum of £4.95 :-D

Valentines Class

Hello,
So, I have for you today the projects we will be making at the next class I have running. The dates are 21st, 23rd, 24th and 25th January and it will be Valentines themed.
I have some spots left still, but not many so please message me soon to reserve a spot :-)
So this is what we will be making at this class
I have designed a cute little carrier especially for the mini milk carton die that SU! sell exclusively, I have also decided to write a full tutorial for this, watch this space for more details very soon!
PLUS if you purchase the die from me then I will send the tutorial to you for FREE! Message me for details or to place your order.
We will also be making this CAS card using the yummy new glimmer paper amongst other things,
and finally we will be stamping a clay ornament, I love this and have made a few different versions, I am wanting to make them tidier by using cutters to get a better shape instead of the more "hand finished" look ;-) More pics to follow I am sure...
O.K. that's all for today, I hope you like these projects and if you would like to come along then please do get in touch :-)

Jems Team Swap

Hello there,
I just realised I didn't share the swaps I made for the rest of the Jem's team when we went to convention!
I managed to get hold of some cute tart tins, I would have loved vintage ones but unfortunately they are very hard to come by in large numbers (18, I think it was) Well, I say that but I did leave it 'till a few weeks before I went to decide what I wanted to make! If I had decided sooner I am sure I could have collected enough ;-)
Anyway, I started with just plain old tins and finished with this...
To make this "aged" look on your tin simply sponge the tin with Whisper White Craft ink and then sponge over the top of that with Soft Suede ink. I then left the tins to dry for 2 days (!) Unfortunately they did NOT dry so my hubby has matt varnish in a spray can so he very helpfully coated them with it for me :-)
in the bottom of the tins I used the XL oval to punch a Soft Suede layer of card and the same with Newsprint DSP which I scrunched up and then swiped with an ink pad to highlight, Stamping, Antique brad, crotchet trim, linen thread and scallop edge border punch were all used to pretty up the centre.
and here it is on my fridge, I added a magnet to the back :-)
Well, that's all for today.
I hope you have enjoyed and if you have a go then don't forget to share your creation, I would love to see :-D

teamed with Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper. Star punch (retired) decorates inside
and an arty angle to finish for you today
OK, that's all for now, I will be back tomorrow with more craftyness for you.

Bottle Top Magnets

Hello,
What a fab class it was yesterday, lovely ladies and a good catch up after Christmas :-)
Today I have another left from December project for you, but it isn't just for Christmas this one!!
You might remember I made bottle top magnets as a swap for convention? Well, I decided to make lots more and give them out as Christmas gifts for my ladies at class :-)
So, I made several versions, these would be fab to use up any scraps you have!
First up is Timeless Portrait using the lovely tealy colour of  Island Indigo and Everything Elanor stamp set to decorate the card,
Then the very pretty Paisley Petals on a Baja Breeze card layer with Simply Soft background,
Then the Flirtatious speciality DSP with Pretty in Pink and the Every Little Bit crown to decorate,
and finally Big Top Birthday papers with Real Red and the star, again from Every Little Bit,
The cards were all hand stamped with the very lovely Creatively Yours 'made just for you' stamp, I also added a small punched shape to one of the magnets and perhaps a pearl or rhinestone to decorate
then covered them all liberally with Crystal Effects to protect them,
and just a small magnet on the back to make them useful as well as pretty ;-)
all together for you to finish,
Right, that's it from me, I will be back tomorrow with a birthday card for a change :-)

Christmas Gifts

So today, I have some gift packaging to share with you, I made a lot of my Christmas gifts this year, keeping old jars and filling them with homemade Lemon Salt Hand Scrub and I purchased some gorgeous glass bottles and made alcoholic gifts too! No fancy equipment needed, just a bit of planning ahead as the drinks take time to mature.
So, to start with here is the hand scrub jars, I printed the directions on the computer after wrapping the jar in So Saffron DSP from the stacks,
Scallop spotty ribbon around the lid with the (retired) tart and tangy lemon on the top
I also found some lovely wooden spoons on Amazon, which I stamped for that finishing touch, using Staz on,
So, onto the alcohol, I made Limoncello and decorated the bottles using Pool Party and Calypso Coral with the Four Frames and the matching punch,
and a gem brad with a small punched circle to decorate the top
the same stamp set was used to decorate the Sloe Gin bottles, I just distressed these with the crumb cake ink pad and a sponge dauber
and a circle of glittery Berry Bouquet DSP to top it off
and here are all the goodies together, they recipients were all happy with their gifts (I think) so a good job, well done.
Well, I hope you like the packaging today and if you want any of the recipes they are all easily searchable on the tinterweb or Pintrest.
Thanks as ever for stopping by today,

A little more Christmas ;-)

Hello,
We,, I do know you are probably a bit sick of the whole Christmas projects by now, but I still have a few things to share, and seeing as I have made a couple of cards yesterday but by the time I finished it was just too dark to photograph them, Christmas it is! ;-) Lol!
OK I bought this wooden sign in the sale after last Christmas, maybe even the one before?? With the intention of altering it, I saw this saying on a sign on Pintrest and thought I would have a go, SU! stylie..
Yummy NEW Red glimmer paper is on page 13 the new mini, I had this before today's catalogue went live as I can pre-order being a demo, message me to find out how you can join me :-)
alphabet is Timeless Type Sizzlits and I covered it with crystal effects to make it all pritty :-)
Well, that's it for today, I will be back tomorrow with more crafty goodness to share with you.
Don't forget to message me to place an order from either the new mini or the current Idea Book and Catalogue :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,
