Stampin' Up's Tiny Treat Boxes to make a Christmas carrier with Get Your Santa On

The other day I had been playing about and thinking about using the Tiny Treat Boxes for more than just an advent calender when I spotted THIS POST from the very talented Debbie Henderson. I loved the idea of joining two of them together and wanted to case the idea I loved it so much! Thank-you Debbie x 

I decided to make a Christmas version so I used my Trim the Tree paper stack and Get Your Santa On stamp set (new and untouched 'till this project) to make this double box using the fab and really in-expensive (just £6.25 for 25) Tiny Treat boxes...

 This ribbon is still available as I type on the Clearance Rack for just £3.19 a roll! Bargain!

TOP TIP: To make the paper stack work so you only use one sheet for this whole project I cut it into 3.5cm wide strips, I simple glued two together and used the third over the centre section.

 I stamped the Santa outfit in Momento ink (my "go to" black ink for photopolymer stamps) onto Crumb Cake card and coloured it in with Cherry Cobbler and Basic Grey marker pens. The trim was coloured using a glue pen then topped with Dazzling Diamonds

 and the sentiment on the other side finishes this double box.

Pictogram Punches by Stampin' Up! after my failed IKEA trip ;-)

Hello there,

I've been out this morning with my Mum on a little trip to IKEA as I wanted to get myself another Raskog trolley for my craft room (see the first one HERE on Facebook). I actually wanted this one so I could pop my class baskets on it as I was making them up but alas they had no grey ones in stock! So now I'm disappointed from Dibden Purlieu... ;-) Looks like I'll be popping back over there after Friday when they are getting more in - I might even manage to talk hubby into paying it if he's with me?? Ha ha!

So now I'm home I am going to share with you one of yesterdays class cards. This class focused on new products from both the (still new) Annual catalogue and the (also new) Autumn/Winter catalogue too! 

This set is from the Annual catalogue and is called Pictogram Punches, it matches (perhaps not surprisingly) the Itty Bitty Punches ;-) and I made it in a Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana colour combo. Desperately holding onto summer, who me?

 We stamped and punched the flowers out curving them before glueing them onto the stems with a tiny dab of Tombow in the centre only for this effect...

 ...and we added a Coastal Cabana thick twine bow at the bottom of the card. You also can see here the layering of the front piece of card using dimensionals after we embossed it using the chevron folder.

FREE stamp set: Nuts About You, Kinda Eclectic and Think Happy by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,

Sorry, I've been a bit absent the last few days I'm afraid but I'm back to share a card with you today!

This one was made for my step-niece's birthday last week and I used three different stamp sets to make this scene. Not really a look I go for often but I like it, especially for kids cards! 

I used the FREE Hostess set Nuts About You, I love this set with the tree and all the different little animals! The sentiment is from another FREE set Good Greetings with the "sun" being from Kinda Eclectic and the clouds are the outline only stamp from Think Happy. 

I made this with a  Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding card base. I'm still loving these sorbet In Colours!

 This tree was inked with markers in Early Espresso and Garden Green with a cantaloupe Possum hanging from a branch

 This cute sentiment is Good Greetings, message me to host a party to earn it FREE or place an order in my shop over £200 to get yours too :-) I also added a few of the silver sequins from the Frosted Sequins pack from the new Autumn/Winter catty

 and I used the fringe scissors to make 'grass' topped with a pistachio pudding thick twine bow
