BBQ King! Using Apron Of Love

Hello there,
I have a card that I made for my class a few weeks ago using the Apron Of Love stamps and dies to make a great card for a BBQ King! I added a Father's Day sentimetn to this but of course it would easily changed out to make a birthday card...
I used the Twinkle, Twinkle papers in the background, it's not just for babies, you know! ;-)
Adding the utensils to the bottom by the sentiment as well as tucked into the pocket of the apron.
I ouldn't find a way for the oven glove to work on the front of the card but I managed to sneak it into the inside.
I think this card is just perfect for any summer birthday especially considering all the wonderful weather we are having here in the UK right now!
Happy BBQ-ing!

Animal Expedition DSP Kangaroo

Hello there and happy Saturday,
Todays card uses the Animal Expedition DSP and the Animal Friends dies that work both with the stamp set but also the paper :-)
Love how cute this Kangaroo and Koala are together. To make the image stand out from the heavily patterned paper I added a little vellum circle behind them...
I decided to team it with the "Subtle" embossing folder which turns any regular card into textured card. Gotta love that!
Add a little sequin trim and twine and top with a sentiment to balance out the image :-)
Plus this DSP is included in the 4 for 3 offer this month only!
I love how quickly these cards can come together with the papers and matching dies!
Thanks for looking today!

Guy Greetings for a Nautical RSVP

Hello!
Todays card uses a stamp set that (sadly) retired recently, Guy Greetings. I will be keeping hold of my set as it's just so versatile and I hope you managed to get a hold of this stamp set?
So, we have been invited to a dear friends daughters wedding later in the year and her gorgeous invite has a nautical theme. So of course, I had to make a little RSVP in a similar style...
I kept the RSVP fairly simple but I do have grander plans for the actual wedding card ;-)
This navy gingham ribbon is still available, yay! It's awesome for tying bows!
Here is my little RSVP with the stunning original invite. I love what she did with these <3 p="">
And isn't this anchor uncannily similar to the original? How fortunate!
So, I have a few ideas for the Wedding card with this theme and of course I'll share it with you after the event.
Thanks so much for looking today and I'll be back tomorrow with another make for you :-)

Vintage Leaves Thank You

Hello!
I have a simple yet striking card for you today using the Vintage Leaves stamp set, let's see....
I made these as thank you cards but you could easily change out the sentiment to make a fab birthday card that would be great for any gardener or even a retirement card. Love the copper embossing powder too ;-)
It's also a great card for posting as it's a single layer and quite easy to make in bulk ;-)
Short and sweet today from me as I have lots to do (again) but I hope you liked today's card?
Back tomorrow with a Christmas make and a new Shopping Code.
I will be placing a closing order for this code this evening by 6pm so if you would like to add anything to my order message me (free post if collected from me) or use the code below to order for direct delivery and you will receive a great free gift from me this month!

Touches Of Texture Pair Of Cards.

Hello!
I'm back from my holiday in Kos- yep, where the earthquake was! We were all completely unscathed as our hotel was a newer one but we visited Kos town and saw some damage to the older buildings and the port side there which was sad. We certainly didn't let it spoil our holiday had a really lovely time away together and would highly recommend Kos and especially the hotel we stayed in :-)
So, now we are home it's all go here. The roof is (finally) being fixed this week -hooray- but there is a gritty layer of dust all over the house, not so yay ;-)
Luckily I have had a lot to make in my craft room (which is, as yet, untouched) and I been on a crafty roll so have made loads of fun cards! These ones are some I made before I went away using the very lovely, but much underused by me, stamp set Touches of Texture.....
This was in a Pink Pirouette colourway
And this the Wisteria Wonder version.
We made these to send up to Manchester so they have a little bee on there which is also in this set.
I love the lace border along the bottom edge.
Which colour do you like best?
Thanks so much for looking today, I'll be back tomorrow with another card :-)
