My Stampin' Up! Team Gifts at Training

Hello there,
Well, the sun is finally shining here, hubby is back from working away and all is good in our house this morning :-D What are your plans for this weekend then? I have class work to be getting on with and real work this weekend too so not much relaxing going on here!
Today I wanted to share with you the gifts I made for my Team, The Southern Belles (not that they are really just southern any more, more like North and South now, lol!)
I wanted to pretty up a notebook so they had somewhere to write important info or ideas etc down whilst we were at training as we always pick up so many great ideas and tips too, this is what I made
Loving the new Twitterpated DSP, You will get a WHOLE pack of this to play with at my all day class ;-)
matching fabric decorates the sides
and along the front too with bordering on romance stamp set and edgelits dies
and I monogrammed each of them too so they wouldn't get mixed up!
I added some decoration to the back
and decorated a pen to match to finish!
And all together
Well, they all seemed to like them so that was great!
If you would like to be a part of the Southern Belles team (anywhere in the country!) then why not message me for a chat, don't forget that if you join in MAY you will get one of the hottest ticket in town FREE!! A ticket to convention in Germany!! Worth a staggering £149!! Whoop Whoop!!!!
Plus now it's just £99 to join and you get to choose your kit...
Thanks for looking today, I will be back tomorrow with more team goodies ;-)

100 Years Young with Apothecary Art by Stampin' Up!

Hello!
I have been very busy today making projects and cards ready for my All Day Class which is being held on the 27th May, please book your place now as there are just 5 places left already! We had such a lovely time at the last all day class with plenty of fun and great project ideas for you to make and repeat at home too.
So, onto the 100th birthday card, this was made for a friend who's Mum couldn't find a nice 100th card in the shops, I hope she likes this one!! ;-)
I used Shimmer and Wisteria Wonder card with the lovely new Apothecary Art stamp set and the matching Framelits dies, LOVING these new products in the Summer Mini!!
Some Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon was secured with a Antique Brad
a few pearls add a touch of class for a lady who makes such a special age
and I finished the inside right with a printed sentiment, on the left I re-inked the stamp, stamped it off and stamped it inside to make a faint image and I did the same with the sentiment to match the front like a watermark.
Well, it is right now winging it's way to Australia, I just hopes she likes it when it arrives so she can give it to her friend ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today!

Using Stampin' Up's Goal Stamp set to make a Football (or Soccer) Slider card

Happy Sunday to you!
Right now Neil is out at work and so I thought I would pop on here quickly and post Harrison's birthday card for you to see. Now this was my first foray into slider cards, even though I shared this tea cup one the other day with you, they were actually my second make!
Harrison is just football (soccer) mad!! Kick the ball!!!
LOVE this action shot of the ball rolling down!!
 GOAL!
I used crystal effects on Harrison's name to give it a lift!
and of course I decorated the inside too :-)
**TOP TIP** to make the football bots shiny I covered them with versamark and clear embossing powder, giving it a blast with my heat gun, then added the crystal effects.
If you just did the crystal effects then the ink would run and we don't want that.
Hasbo had a great birthday and I hope you have enjoyed the card today.
Back tomorrow with cup cakes as well as a card ;-)

Good Afternoon and Happy Bank holiday to all those of you in the UK
I am actually not at work this weekend so I am looking forward to a nice, relaxing time, erm, nope scratch that! We are doing DIY tomorrow and Monday so today is the day off!!
So today's card is another swap I made for reading last week this one uses Up, Up and Away, I **heart** this set!!
I used Pool Party (again) with Regal Rose this time
I sponged the sky with pool party using our XL scalloped circle punch, notice those brilliant edgelits here again too ;-)
I did a small aperture for the sentiment too, I like this look ;-)
The sentiment is from this stamp set too, it's just perfect I think!
Right, that's me for today, see you tomorrow :-)

Stampin' Up! Twitterpated Mother's Day

Hello there today,
It's a bit chilly today but I'm not complaining because at least there is no rain at the moment!!
The lady I work with is from Australia and she needed a Mother's Day card to send out to her Mum so as mother's day here is long gone there aren't any in the shops so she asked me to make one for her :-)
Her Mum likes home made and hand made so I went a bit to town with her card
Mini scrunched flowers using the boho blossoms punch made with Twitterpated DSP, yum!
a ruffled seam binding rose inside a larger scrunched flower made with the new Blossom Punch
This gorgeous panel is from Everything Eleanor, a fantastic set
and I punched a flower from the corner and backed it with more Twitterpated DSP, such a pretty design on this sheet

Right, I'm off to make tea
Happy Stamping!!

Stampin' Up! Tea Shoppe

Hello there,
Another wet day here but I did go out for coffee this morning so it didn't really matter then, it was a tad damp when I took the dog out afterwards though :-S
So, for today's card share I thought I would show you the card I made for the girls in my team I met up with at training, we decided to do a "special" swap amongst ourselves where we put a bit more into it, I went with a spinner card, now I know I am late coming to the table with these, I have seen them around so much but always thought they were far too tricky and couldn't really be bothered with the faf, I was wrong though, I admit. They are sooo easy to make, in fact I made one for Harrison's birthday which I will share with you another day, today though I have a Pool Party and Pink Pirouette coloured tea cup card
the runner was made with the ever versatile word window punch and look at that yummy pool party bakers twine!
this sentiment is also in the stamp set and it fits in the XL Oval punch perfectly too
Right, I'm off to reply to the never ending list of emails I have!!
If you would like me to show you how I made this card then why not book a home workshop and I will share it with you and your friends :-D
Thanks for visiting today :-)
