SU! Retiring Stamps: Garden Party, Think Happy and Four Frames

OK, I'm going to pick a few cards using stamps that I'm going to miss from the retirement list to share with you today. Things seem to be selling r-e-a-l-l-y fast (as yesterday's post showed!) so just a gentle reminder that if you want something a lot, please place your order soon ;-)

So, first pick from me for today will be Garden Party, here are a few examples...

 This card uses both Garden Party and another stamp set that is leaving us that I'll miss a lot which is Think Happy...

 and more Think Happy clouds, this card also uses Celebrate Today and has been a really popular pick on Pinterest ;-)

Stampin' up! Retiring Products 2015- My Top Picks

So today I want to share with you just some of the (many) items that have made the retirement list that I have loved and will miss when they go in a few short weeks :-(

So, lets start with the Angled Tag Topper Punch, just £10.48, that's half price. I love this and this will be one of the few things I keep!! See these...

  

And then can I also mention "Birthday Surprise", this is a great stamp set for mens cards, both young and old...

 

I'm going to mention next all the thick bakers twine, SOLD OUT!! I am keeping everything crossed for new colours of this wonderful twine. If you visit here often you'll see I use this a lot! The first card here also shows Yippee-Skippee, this fab sentiment set is off too.

And finally today the thing I'll miss most are three of the retiring In Colours: Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe. SOLD OUT, SORRY and see also here in the centre, the Hearts Framelits, these are going too.

Stampin' Up's Hardwood, Painted Petals and From My Heart stamps with more Heat Embossing!!

Hi there,

 I was playing with the Blushing Bride embossing powder (making THIS CARD) and wanted to see what results I would get when I teamed it with the Hardwood Background stamp and Painted Petals stamps. I love how when you heat emboss the stamping behind doesn't show through so gives a totally different look to the just stamped version, take a look...

 I stamped the Hardwood background first in Crumb Cake; then added the leaves, finishing by heat embossing the flowers and then the sentiment.

 Blushing Bride embossed flowers with stamped Pistachio leaves

This gorgeous sentiment is from the From The Heart stamp set, I heat embossed it using white powder and went over it with a sponge dauber and crumb cake ink to highlight.

 I was happy with this little card, I like how stamping onto white card makes it fresh and spring like too :-)
