Football Shaker Card in Southampton/Saints colours using Stampin' Up! Products :-)

Hello there,
Today I have a card that actually turned out exactly as I envisioned! Now that doesn't happen too often - well, not to me anyway! It was my friends sons birthday and he is football crazy, particularly Southampton, who are otherwise know as the Saints (if you are a non-football person ;-))
The Saints kit is red and white striped and I wanted to incorporate that in the card and make it a shaker card and this is what I came up with...
I used a Neat and Tangled die for the striped background and topped it with stamped footballs from the (retired) Goal stamp set by SU! and some flat sequins before sewing a top layer of window sheets over the top... It's not the neatest sewing, I admit, so don't look too closely please ;-)
This Happy Birthday is from the Party Wishes stamp set which is on the retiring list too :-(
As you can see here this is quite a flat shaker card so I chose just the flat sequins from the pack.
And a top view of the card.
TIP: Try using washi tape to seal your envelopes for a bit of extra decoration ;-)
And I even decorated the bag to match today!
Well, the birthday boy liked his card and I hope you do too?
Thanks so much for looking today.

A few On Stage 2016 Telford Road Trip Goodies for my Stampin' up! Downline

Hello,
As promised I wanted to share with you the Road Trip Essentials kit that I prettied up with a little with DSP when we went to Telford for On Stage 2016 last week.
It's amazing the difference a bit of DSP can make to the simplest of things. I kept to just two patterns from the English Garden DSP, one for each of my travel buddies ;-)
So, I started with the paper bags...
And then I tried to fill them with a few things they might need whilst away!
Note books (which were already beautiful, so I just added their initials), caffeine and sugar ;-)
A Pen, Nail File and Hand Sanitiser with a few quotes from the Words of Truth stamp set ;-)
Even a bottle of water looks pretty with DSP ;-) The other two are Hand Wipes and a Tissue packet holder. I have made videos for both of these boxes and I'll be sharing them with you next Tuesday and Saturday :-)))
And here it is all together, hopefully everything you might need for a road trip or a few days away?
So, did you want to come to On Stage in Telford in November? See gorgeous new products first and be motivated to run your SU! business like we were? Message me to find out how you can become a SU! demo with me :-)
Thanks so much for looking today and I hope you enjoyed todays post!

Easy Lip Balm Box Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up! DSP

Hello there,
So, this time last week I was in Telford for Stampin' Up's On Stage 2016 (you can see loads more on my Facebook and Instagram pages!) and we had a fabulous time! We saw first the new, upcoming catalogue and received an (already well loved) hard copy!! Fantastic displays and products and we watched demonstrations both live and streamed from the USA On Stage! It was a fab weekend for all demonstrators! (And yes, you can go too this November if you are a demo... let me know if you'd like more details)
So, I drove up there with two of my downline and I wanted to give them a little road trip goody bag, full of essential supplies for a (fairly long) drive and this lip balm holder {with a video tutorial} was one of the things I designed for the trip. I will share all the other goodies with you over the next week :-)
These are the original two I made for my Road Trip buddies, I used English Garden DSP :-)
They held a little lip balm easily and I simply secured them closed with a wrap of bakers twine.
 Cute eh?
OK, so I made a super quick video tutorial for you this week too, take a look...
For those who prefer written measurement here you go:
DSP: 7.5cm x 21cm or 3" x 8+1/4"
Score along the short side at 2.5cm and 5cm or 1" and 2"
Score along the long edge at 4cm, 6.5cm, 13.5cm and 16cm or
1+1/2", 2+1/2", 5+1/4" and 6+1/4".
Please watch the video for further instructions and tips :-)
And to finish, here is one more pic of the holders I made for this video :-)
Well, I hope you linked todays quick tutorial and I'll be back with more road trip goodies over the next week!

Using Stampin' Up's Beautiful Ride for Easy Watercolouring

Hello there,
I have a cute little card for you today using the very lovely Beautiful Ride stamp set. This set is not staying in the upcoming new catalogue sadly :-( I will be keeping hold of mine, for sure!
Please do order yours asap if you'd like your own as come May they are "while stocks last".
OK, lets see this card shall we?
I stamped and heat embossed the car and cute lil' matching suitcases from the set onto watercolour card with silver embossing powder before colouring it in using an aqua painter and ink pads...
These balloons and the sentiment are included in the set. Did you know you get 21 stamps in this set for just £15.00!
I added Crystal Effects to the windows, unfortunately this has sold out already!! *Sad Face* Please, please order your favourites from the retirement list soon :-)
I added the main image on dimensionals and glued the cloud down around the edges for a slightly different look.
and a top view to finish today
Gah, I do so love this set and will be really sad to see it go! Good job there's a lot of fun stuff in the new catalogue to look forward to, right?
Just to say if you have chosen to order with me in the last 6 months or you do so in the coming weeks, then you'll be one of the first to receive a catalogue as I'll drop one in the post to you for free as soon as I have them :-) Just another little way of me saying thanks, I appreciate you choosing me as your demo xx
Well, that's all for now, I'll be back with a new video tomorrow! Hope you can make it back,
