New Baby Boy Shaker Card using SU! Baby's First Dies.

Hello there,
So, just recently my DH became a Grandaddy and I, a Step Nanna! Obviously, we are all thrilled and excited for the new addition to the family and of course I needed to make a special card! I always love a shaker card (as you probably know) but I especially love to make something thats just a bit more special when it's likely the card will be kept forever, as is usual when a baby is born ;-)
So, I made this card to celebrate the arrival of baby Jackson...
For a video tutorial sharing step-by-step how to make a Shaker Card please pop over HERE and for a video with my tips for using the new Foam Strips (especially with Baby's First Framelits) please pop over HERE
And if you have any questions please do ask ;-) I used some Serene Scenery paper for behind the windows, probably not the first DSP you'd think of for a baby card but those teeny-tiny spots are perfect, don't you think?
I have a couple of these lovely (retired) wooden sentiments left still and they are just perfect for a baby card.
I used Layering Love inside but stamped it off for a subtle look. Again, I think this sentiment is simply perfect for any new parents and their baby :-)
And one final photo for today.
Well, the new Mummy liked the card but what do you think? Thanks for looking today,
Back soon with more!

Glittery, Golden Pineapple Card with a FREE Tutorial, using Pop Of Paradise and the Pineapple Background stamp by Stampin' Up!

Hello there,
I have a great fun and very glittery card for you today!
I used a lovely colour combo of Mint Macaron, Basic Black and plenty of gold, mostly glitter... and lots of it to make this card...
L-o-v-e this pineapple stamp! And in gold glitter? Stunning! I wish you could see how sparkly it is IRL ;-)
So, here's a little tutorial sharing how to make this golden pineapple.
It's super fun and easy too, give it a go!
This sentiment is from the Sunshine Wishes die set, I simply trimmed away the "sun" part of the sunshine sentiment to make it work on this card.
 So, what do you think?
I do hope you have enjoyed todays card, Thanks so  much for looking today :-)

A Quick and Simple Card using Stampin' Up's Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies

Hello there,
Have I mentioned how much I love these Floral Thinlits dies? They are so easy to use and they make it look like you have spent many hours making a card!
For todays card I simply die cut the floral thinlits from Flirty Flamingo card (another fave!) and added it over a thick white card base...
I stamped a sentiment from Confetti Celebration and added a little navy twine bow.
Sprinkled on a few rhinestones and a glimmer paper flower and it's done!
So, that's all from me for today, back tomorrow with another card so 'till then,
Happy stampin'

Wedding Day WIshes using Swirly Scribbles and Sunshine Wishes Dies By SU!

Hello there,
One of my card class ladies recently got married and I also got some new lovely dies that would work for a wedding card around the same time! How lucky was that?!?!?! Obviously I would have made her a card anyway ;-) but it was just the perfect excuse to break out a few new products ;-)
I used a colour combo of Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sky to make this card...
I was inspired by THIS CARD that I made for a wedding previously. I simply used the lovely, swirly die cut hearts from Sunshine Wishes, instead of stamping them.
The sentiment inside is from Better Together
I did stamp on the gift bag though using Watercolour Words
and added a little Flamingo coloured ribbon to the handle
Here's one final photo of the card. You can see here I only glued the ends of the 'Love' sentiment for a little dimension
Well, that's it for today! I hope you liked this wedding card?
I'll be back tomorrow with more,
Bye for now,
