Button Tree

Hello!
I am back, two days in a row! Get me!! lol!
So, I have another Christmas card as promised today with a colour combo of Crumb Cake and Wild Wasabi with the Jolly Jingles wheel and Versamark to make the background
I used some some of my buttons from my stash to make the tree with oodles of gold glass glitter filling in the gaps with the help of some crystal effects,
Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (page 116) was used to make the trunk
with scalloped dotty ribbon decorating the side with tiny tags too,
and some more roller inside to finish,
well, that's today's Christmas card for you, back tomorrow with some Christmas gift boxes

Daisy Box

Hello there,
This morning I have a box I made to share with you using the Daisy flower die and some more of the Springtime Vintage papers (last 2 shares available, see top of this blog)

the box folds up at either side, I loved the shape of it :-D
I added a Velcro dot to the top to keep it closed, it would be the perfect size for a bib or pack of baby socks in for a new mum,
I added some of the lovely, chunky glass glitter in Baja Breeze to the centre of the Daisy to finish,
and a quick picture of it opened out, I added a flower from the Fun Flowers die to "base" the Daisy as I thought it should be more solid for ease of opening,
So, that's today's project for you. It is our 15th wedding anniversary today so I am looking forward to a nice day, not sure if we are going out yet, will have to wait and see I suppose ;-)
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a lovely bank holiday, whatever you are up to,

April Class

Hello!
Happy Easter Monday! How was your Easter Sunday? It was a lovely hot day here and we had a BBQ with my Mum and Hubby's Dad, it's so lovely to be able to eat outside isn't it?? my favourite bit of the summer :-)
Well, this Bank Holiday Monday I had the first of this months classes, and it was great! the projects we made went down well and so did the Rose Water cupcakes! Yum!
So, here is what we made, a card, a bookmark and my favourite- the mini milk carton (surprise!)
I started the card by looking through the mini catalogue and was inspired by one on page 6, I think it turned out quite different though..
much more vintagey with the Glass Glitter for the flower centre, this glitter ages as it sits on your project giving you a tarnished look,
Sentiment is from Artistic Etchings with the Seam Binding having had a thread pulled from the middle to get the ruffle,
Then we had to use the Owl Punch so we made a bookmark inspired by some Julie made,
Love the owl punch with seam binding ribbon around the bottom of the mark,

and finally the mini milk carton, it is similar to the one I made for my Jems swap,
Well, that's today's projects for you, If you would like to come to next months class then please get in touch, we will be making a little brag book and card for Fathers Day. I have some exciting news regarding classes, more details tomorrow once I have told my regular ladies, there's another good reason to come... you get to find out all the details first!
Thanks for stopping by today,
