Only 2 Days left!!

Hello folks,
I have a couple of cards to share with you today, they are both quite speedy cards to make, in fact we made them both last week at a little get together I had at my friends house last week to share the last chance list and some retiring products with the ladies, I am still up in the air at home so next months class date is still being decided (as to when I have a house suitable for people to come to!) I promise you will be the first to know .
So here are the cards, most of the products are retiring and as such will be gone forever tomorrow night, eek! If you need to place an order then email me before 7pm tomorrow on sarah-janerae@sky.com
Here is the first card, it uses Brocade Blue and Close to Cocoa (both retiring) with Seeing Spots (1/2 price at just £6.98) a great set for men's cards and Say it with Scallops (25% off at £11.21) another great set for speedy makes,
arty angle,

The 2nd card today is made using Pixie Pink card (retiring) with the lovely True Friend stamp set (retiring but 1/2 price @ £10.98) I love this set as it has great sentiments as well as lovely images,

I have teamed the Pixie Pink with Basic Grey and Melon Mambo (both staying) and a touch of Black Gingham ribbon (also 1/2 price @ just £2.63!)

This is your last chance to get your hands on some of the little bargains I have shown you today, I hope to hear from you soon,

40 today!

Happy birthday Rich!
Yes, it's our good friend Rich's birthday today and you know what that means don't you?? Yup, a dreaded card for a man! lol! Unusually the idea for this one came to me straight away.
I knew I wanted to use the champagne bottle from New Years Celebration as what is better for a special birthday that champers? ;0)
Colours used were So Saffron (retired paper) Night of navy background card which was stamped with matching ink using the fireworks stamp from the set and Old Olive DSP, I have also given you a special sneak peek, can you see what it is?? yes, on the bottle I have coloured the labels using fab new White Shimmer Paint, oooo, I love it already!
Star Punch (which is on offer this month, see top post) used on the front and in photo below, inside, Congrats stamp is from Say it with Scallops, Old Olive ribbon stapled to DS paper, small circle punch outs covered in Crystal Effects to make faux brads.
Now for his birthday he is getting an I-Pod (amongst lots of {40} other things) so we got him an I-Tunes voucher,
Here is the little pocket/card I made to hold it,
and here it is open.
Now, I have seen a few of this shape gift card holders around but I made this one up today as I was going, if you would like the measurements then please email me.
That's it for today, I am going to Reading tomorrow for a Stampin' Up! training day, I am so looking forward to it, not least to meet up with all the other SU! demos but also as these events are always so inspiring, then Sunday I am off to the Ideal Home Exhibition, it's gonna be a fun weekend!
I'll be back Monday with all the goss, make sure you pop by,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

Finally a Post!!!

Hello,
Again I find myself apologising for being a bad blogger! soz ;0)
I am getting back into the swing of things and it should get a little easier soon, shed base is finally done!!
It is my mums birthday today so I have been round hers visiting this morning, I will share the card I made her with you tomorrow, but today I have the other 2 cards which we will be making at my march class, which I am sorry is now full.
First up is a card made using the Thank-You stamp from the Say it with Scallops set, on offer this month, please see top post.
Here you can see I have layered the sentiment, Background is made from Seeing Spots and then wrapped with linen thread,

And this is the final card, I enjoyed making the circle flowers so much last week so I thought we could have a go at them at this months class,

3d'd sentiment,

and in the middle of the flowers I have added home made buttons topped with Crystal Effects,

Well that's the class shared with you, I will be back tomorrow (I promise) with a plum card for my mum,
Take Care and don't forget to check out my prize draw in the post above,
