Winter Woods in Silver and Navy

Hello!
Following on from my Winter Woods card design last week in gold I thought I'd share with you today another card that I also made with this bundle, this time in a navy and silver colourway. I love how versatile these dies are, I have so many ideas with this set and just not enough hours in the day at the moment!
Anyway, let's see this make shall we?
I tore white card to make my snowy hills and added dazzling diamonds glitter along the torn edges before tucking the silver die cut trees in behind.
I added a heat embossed sentiment, die cut with stitched edge framelits (as usual ;-)) and a few sequins, of course!
So, that's today's card for you. The littlest boy is now doing football on the weekends so I'm looking forward to watching him play his first proper match later then I have a whole night off work, yay! So hopefully I'll be crafting this evening!
Thanks for looking today, I hope you have  wonderful Sunday and get a chance to make something too :-)

Heart Happiness for an Inspire. Create. Challenges Sketch #17

Hello!
It's time for challenge #17  already at Inspire. Create Challenges and this fortnight it's a sketch, my favourite!
I decided to use the soon to be retiring Heart Happiness stamp set but, I've stamped it in the upcoming In Colour, Blueberry Bushel. A real combo of old and new! Let's see, shall we...
These silver enamel shapes are also leaving us but don't they look cute on these slightly larger hearts?
I thought the sentiment from Weather Together, heat embossed in silver, was just perfect with these hearts.
and I love how well the Blueberry Bushel works with Bermuda Bay, don't you?
But don't worry, you'll be able to purchase this Blueberry ink and card on the first of  June or if you can't wait you could always consider joining SU! for the first peek at the new catalogues and also you'll get hold of the new products, first! ;-)
I hope you enjoy your day and if you are making a card this week we'd love if you had a go at this challenge! For some more inspiration do head over to the challenge blog and see what the rest of the DT have made HERE
Right, I'm off out for the day as it's out wedding anniversary so we are having a day out together!
Back soon with more craftyness :-)

CAS Card using Merry Little Labels with Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.

Hello there,
I have a very CAS card for you today but one that, I think, packs a punch! I've teamed the Merry Little Labels (which is not just for labels!) with the Winter Wonder embossing folder to make this card....
I heat embossed the label stamp in silver and added it to the smoky slate embossed card front.
TIP: When dry embossing a whole card front it can make it a little too 'soft' to stand well, so I like to emboss a second piece of card that is just 2mm smaller than the actual card (here it is 10.3cm x 14.6cm) and adhere it flat to the card base using tombow glue.
I used the matching punch to cut out the stamped image and added a second punched card piece in pool party, slightly off set behind.
Loving these new mini sequins too! Gotta have some bling at Christmas. OK, any time of the year actually ;-)
Well, that's all from me for today. I do hope you liked this card :-)
Thanks for stopping by today,

Silver Promotion Card using Birthday Blooms by SU! for a Monochrome Look

Hello there,
I have a card today that I made for my lovely downline Angel for promoting to Silver with Stampin' Up! I am so proud for her for achieving this goal and this is the card I made for her in a monochrome silver colourway, of course! Have a peek...
I stamped this lovely flower from Birthday Blooms using versamark and heat embossed it in, yes, you guessed it, silver! Then coloured it in using an aqua painter and my Smoky Slate ink pad.
I love how this changed this image completely from vintage and shabby chic to classy and elegant.
I used some of the silver glitter tape from SaB down the side (but you could swap it out for glimmer paper if you don't have this) and topped it with a silver sequin strip.
Wouldn't this make a fab silver wedding card too?
Angela chose a PL album and pages for her promotion gift and I wrapped it to match
with some of every silver ribbon I had ;-)
OK, I'm going to finish today with one last picture of the card. I really hope you liked this? It's one of my faves ;-)
Just to let you know I'm closing this months hostess code on Saturday evening so if you'd like bonus gift in the post from me in May then please use the code below with your order before then :-)
Thanks for looking today.
