Needle and Thread stamped card.

Hello there and happy Sunday to you!
I hope you've had a great day? We had football this morning which was a tad chilly - but not as cold as last week (I didn't think) but I thought I'd hop on and share an evening post with you today, for a change.
I have another card from my class this week and this card is a pretty, mostly stamped make in a Lovely Lipstick, Navy and Pear Pizazz colourway, let's see...
This card seemed to go down well in class and my
TOP TIP: is to stamp the leaves first, then the flowers :-)
Wrap with some silver thread, top with a sentient and add a few white enamel spots (retired) to finish this make.
So, that's today's card for you.
I have loads of other Needle and Thread cards to share with you over the next week so I hope you'll stop by again soon ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today,

Stampin' Up's Needle and Thread bundle

Hello there,
I have a cute card today using the Needle and Thread bundle which I will be using in class later this week. This means I have made loads of samples with this set and so I will be sharing all of them here over the coming days!
This card started life at On Stage but I didn't assemble it while I was there as I wanted to add a few extras and tweak it a little to create this card...
Some of the tiny changes I made were to cut the DSP in half, layer the pink card with a pop of Berry Burst and use those lovely swirl stamped images too.
And don't you adore that pin effect the background die creates on here?
I have loved using this suite, so much so that I have to actually force myself to move on to some of the other lovely stamps in the Spring/Summer catalogue so I have some other projects to share with you here, lol!
I hope you have enjoyed todays make and I will be back with loads more makes over the next week or so! I do hope you'll pop back to see :-)
Thanks for looking today.

Rainbow of Hearts using Little Elephant

Hello!
Todays make is another fun rainbow card. I used the super cute heart shaped hearts from the Little Elephant stamp set, see...
 Colours used were:
Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Lemon-Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point and Highland Heather.
I just grabbed a selection of ink pads that looked like they would coordinate well together, choosing more pastel colours rather than the primary that I used HERE.
Layered onto a Lemon-Lime Twist layer and finish with sequins (of course) and  a sentiment!
So, I hope you liked todays make? I'll be back tomorrow with another, hope to see you then!

Floral Boutique DSP by Stampin' Up! to make and Navy and Emerald Card

Hello there,
Today I have a card teaming Navy and Emerald in a classic colour combination.
I used Floral Boutique DSP and teamed it with the fab Sunshine Wishes dies to make this card...
I die cut the flower which is from Sunshine Wishes die set from Emerald Envy card and coloured it with the clear Wink of Stella pen after gluing it directly to the DSP layer.
I found the sentiment (also Sunshine wishes dies) was a little lost on this busy paper when I tried it just in white, so I die cut it in navy too and layered both words, slightly offset, to make them pop!
All finished with a little Navy thread down the side
Thanks so much for looking today :-) I hope you have enjoyed the card!

Fishy, Fishy! Using Jar of Love with two other stamp sets to make a little fish tank! Plus how I store my SU! Enamel Shapes

Hello there and happy Sunday to you,
I have a super fun mini fish tank card today for you today using three different stamp sets! Can you tell which they are?
This card was about the first thing I thought of when I first saw the Live, Love Grow stamp set in the catalogue as I thought the curved plant in the set looked like a plant in a pond or fish tank, take a look...
So, the first stamp set I used was Live, love, Grow. The fish is from Jar of Love stamps and those cute mini anchors and also the hearts coming from the fish are from the Layering Love stamp set :-)
This sentiment is also from Jar of Love and I adore these new Enamel Shapes (find them on page 177 of the catalogue)
So, I thought I would share with you how I store my new Enamel Shapes.
They come in a card backed plastic pocket which, when opened, is not resealable. So I use a small wood mount case to keep mine in, see...
And one final photo for today :-)
Well, I hope you enjoyed todays card? It was a fun and easy card to make and took me back to my stamping roots ;-)
