Amazing Life stamp set with Stitched Rectangles

Hello!
You may have seen this card already as I had a major boo boo a few weeks ago with scheduling and publishing *facepalm*
But I didn't write all about it and if you haven't seen it then hello! lol.
I have to say I love the fresh design, it feels very modern this card in Pool Party, Blushing Bride and a touch of the (sale-a-Bration) black and white paper, what do you think?
We made this card at the Amazing Life class and I really enjoyed using both the stamps and the dies and I'm sad teh stamps are retiring but super thrilled the dies are staying!
I coloured the cakes with blends and topped them with a coating of Wink Of Stella.
That sparkle never gets old does it?
A white embossed sentiment and a little poll party twine and that's this card done!
I hope you've enjoyed todays make? I hope you have a chance to get crafty today :-)

Needle and Thread Shaker Card

Hello!
Yesterday I realised I literally have so much to share with you that I simply *have* to get my behind into gear and blog some of my makes - so here I am! Lol!
I really love this little card, it's a shaker card (something I haven't made one of for ages) but it's a flatter version using vellum and the fab-u-lous stitched rectangle dies, I have already used these so much!
I added a stack of the flowers from the Needle and Thread stamp set in the corner of the frame.
TIP: To get a great image with these clever distinktive stamps you need a light covering of ink on them. Simply press the ink back into your pad (using a bone folder or the back of a spoon) before inking the stamp like usual.
I chose vellum for this shaker front so I could use the stitched effect background die from the Needlepoint dies (available in the Needle and Thread bundle, saving 10%) on it. It's so pretty IRL and I do hope you can see it here.
I used some (retired) sequin and pearl mix from my stash. They are small and mostly flat so perfect for this style of flatter shaker - you could use some of the current iridescent sequins though.
I added a twist of old olive twine, which I can't seem to get enough of either right now, it just seems to work perfectly on everything!
OK, so that's all from me for today and I'll definitely be back tomorrow with another of my many makes!
Thanks for looking today :-)

A New Sketch Challenge with Inspire. Create Challenges using the Needle and Thread Bundle

Hello and welcome to another post with Inspire. Create challenges!
This fortnight it's a sketch challenge (my favourite) and it's a great design that was super fun to use!
And this is the card I made, using the Needle and Thread bundle...
I used the beautiful stitched die from the bundle on white card then added Highland Heather and Old Olive inks with a dauber to highlight the image.
I finished with a sentiment on vellum and some more of the stitched elements from the die set, wrapped with some of that fabulous, new Old Olive Twine!
So, that's all from me for today, I hope you have enjoyed my card? But, don't forget the rest of the DT who have some fab-u-lous makes with this sketch so please do head over to the ICC blog  to be super inspired!
Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back soon with a new card :-)

Stitched All Around with Petal Promenade DSP

Hi!
Today I have a card that showcases the Petal Promenade DSP. I think these papers are really special. My husband, not so much! Lol! I kindly informed him he was wrong and he did concede that he liked the finished card, ha ha ha!
OK, so here I teamed the papers with the Stitched All Around Bundle...
And you can watch a little video HERE, made by SU! and showing how they were designed and made. So clever!
I'm loving Fresh Fig with this paper design but there are other lovely floral sheets in pinks too.
(more cards to come here soon ;-))
I added a little strip of card and a few sequins to finish this card but honestly, the paper is everything on it's own! IMO, of course ;-)
So, do you love this paper too??

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hi there,
Today I have a pair of cards that no crafter ever really wants to make and that no friend ever wants to have to send :-(
I used a Fresh Fig and White colour combo with a retired stamp set I have in my stash to make these...
I stamped the flower onto shimmery white card before watercolouring the flower with aqua painters and the stem using blender pens.

I made a frame from stitched edge framelits using Fresh Fig card to surround the watercoloured (retired) flower image. The flower in the "Love What You Do" stamp set would be a great alternative. Threading the sentiment, stamped onto vellum, through the frame.
Adding a few rhinestones to finish.
I know making these cards is never a nice thing to have to do but hopefully they send a message of love to the recipient at such a tough time.
