Guy Greetings with the Bow Punch by Stampin' Up! plus FREE Tutorial on how to make a Bow-Tie with your Bow Punch :-)

Hi There!
Two posts, One day! It must be New Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration time!!
Today's card uses one of what I think will be the most popular items in the NEW Spring/Summer catalogue, the Bow Punch. But, as I'm sure you know by now I like to mix things up a bit and so I decided to make a Man's card using this nifty little tool ;-)
Take a look at my make, I used the fab new paper stack called Adventure Bound...
and teamed it with Guy Greetings, incidentally this stamp set is available in Wood mount, Clear Mount and Photopolymer too! SU! Have listened and introduced more choices and are now offering selected stamps in a choice of mountings, just so you know ;-)
OK, I loved this sheet of paper as a shirt front but the reverse is actually a grass pattern which is fab but I wanted it to match! To acheive this look I simply adhered a square of the matching check pattern to the rear of the chevron paper with the pattern I wanted showing (the checks) towards me and cut straight down the centre to make a collar.
To make the punched bow into a bow-tie I trimmed away the "v" at the end of the rear section to a straight line and also snipped away the very corners too.
And finally a side view to finish today :-) I was really pleased with how this card turned out and I hope it gives you even more ideas for using this fabulous punch too!!
Just so you know: The Bow Punch, Adventure Bound Paper Stack and Guy Greetings in Photopolymer make a grand total of £45.70, which will give you a FREE Sale-a-Bration product of your choice! All links to purchase are at the end of this post :-)
I'll, of course, be sharing many more projects with all these products over the next few weeks.
Right, it's my night off and I'm going for a long soak in the bath tonight, thanks so much for stopping by today,

Balloon Birthday Card by using Celebrate Today by Stampin' Up!

Hi there,
I had a lot of people pop over here yesterday after my mini break between Christmas and New Year so I just want to say "Hi!" and thanks for visiting with me :-)
Please note: Today is the LAST DAY to order from the Autumn/Winter catalogue!! Please, please order those bits you have had your eye on today as there are limited items being carried over into the new Spring./Summer catalogue tomorrow and unless SU! bring them back in the Annual catalogue they will be gone forever. You can always email me to check if your favourites are saying if you want.
I will obviously be popping a link on here for the new S/S catty as soon as I'm allowed tomorrow too. Remember if you have ordered from me recently (and clicked No Contact) or are wanting to order soon I can send you a hard copy of the S/S catty and the SAB catty too, please just drop me a line with your details :-)
Right, today I have a pretty little card to share with you using the new set Celebrate Today. I have teamed it here with some lovely Bermuda Bay Sequins which are also new tomorrow too..
This sentiment is part of the stamp set, I stamped Happy in Soft Sky and Birthday in Strawberry Slush. I'm in Strawberry Slush love right now, it seems to be my go to colour!
This lovely balloon die cut looks like it's filled with confetti with this stamp. Speaking of, did you notice the background on this card? I used the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp set with Versamark. I'm loving this for backgrounds, it's full of little stamps reminding me of a set we had a few years ago called confetti (if I remember correctly?) I have already used it plenty even though it's a bit of a misleading name as I think it has so many more uses than just the calendar...
and a side view to finish off today
Well, I hope you liked today's card?
I'll be back tomorrow with more cards after my morning class :-)
Thanks for stopping by today

New Year, New Catalogue, New Products and a Ton of New Ideas!!

Hello!
I'm back!! I know I have been a bit absent since Christmas but we have been spending the last week of the holidays together putting away the Christmas Decs, doing a little sales shopping and generally relaxing here at home - as I'm sure most of you have been doing also?! But, today was the start of operation de-clutter - starting with our Bedroom :-)
I have spent one day in my craft room though (yesterday). Firstly I had a magazine commission to finish (an Easter one!!) and then I had a little (actually, quite a long) play with some of the new goodies from the upcoming new Spring/Summer catalogue. I can't wait to share it with you in just 2 days!! Speaking of - if you would like a hard copy of this catalogue then please do DROP ME A LINE. I am happy to post it out to you for FREE if you are planning an order with me soon or have ordered from me recently. I have posted out catty's to all those who have recently ordered from me (thank-you) but if you have placed an order and haven't received a copy perhaps you didn't click the "Allow demonstrator to contact me" button? If you didn't then I DO NOT have your address :-( Please do contact me and I'll pop one in the post to you tomorrow :-)
OK, so today I'm sharing with you a duo of cards. These are really simple one layer cards using the new stamp set Sheltering Tree which will be available on Tuesday.
I love this set and it'll be fab for multi layered cards but also for quick and simple cards like these...

Here is an Early Espresso with Strawberry Slush blossom tree card, wouldn't this be fab for Easter? It must be on my mind still... ;-)
I added dots of glue with the glue pen and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds glitter over (Sorry, it was hard to get a good picture of the glitter) and topped the card with Pistachio Pudding thick twine.
All supplies are at the end of this post.
and I also made an Old Olive with Crumb Cake trunk version too. I think the colours make this a more masculine version. I added the mini paperclip and linen thread from a kit we got at convention that I never used. Operation de-clutter is everywhere ;-)
I used Memento ink to stamp the bike but I stamped it off onto my grid paper first to make it paler, then added the cross bars in Lost Lagoon.
and together again to finish today ;-)
Well, I hope you have enjoyed my first cards and post here for 2015?!
I look forward to sharing so much more with you over the next 12 months and remember if there is anything you want to ask me or want to see me make then please drop me a line and I'll do my best to help!
Stampin' Hugs for a fabulous and inky 2015 together!
