Guy Greetings with the Bow Punch by Stampin' Up! plus FREE Tutorial on how to make a Bow-Tie with your Bow Punch :-)

Hi There!
Two posts, One day! It must be New Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration time!!
Today's card uses one of what I think will be the most popular items in the NEW Spring/Summer catalogue, the Bow Punch. But, as I'm sure you know by now I like to mix things up a bit and so I decided to make a Man's card using this nifty little tool ;-)
Take a look at my make, I used the fab new paper stack called Adventure Bound...
and teamed it with Guy Greetings, incidentally this stamp set is available in Wood mount, Clear Mount and Photopolymer too! SU! Have listened and introduced more choices and are now offering selected stamps in a choice of mountings, just so you know ;-)
OK, I loved this sheet of paper as a shirt front but the reverse is actually a grass pattern which is fab but I wanted it to match! To acheive this look I simply adhered a square of the matching check pattern to the rear of the chevron paper with the pattern I wanted showing (the checks) towards me and cut straight down the centre to make a collar.
To make the punched bow into a bow-tie I trimmed away the "v" at the end of the rear section to a straight line and also snipped away the very corners too.
And finally a side view to finish today :-) I was really pleased with how this card turned out and I hope it gives you even more ideas for using this fabulous punch too!!
Just so you know: The Bow Punch, Adventure Bound Paper Stack and Guy Greetings in Photopolymer make a grand total of £45.70, which will give you a FREE Sale-a-Bration product of your choice! All links to purchase are at the end of this post :-)
I'll, of course, be sharing many more projects with all these products over the next few weeks.
Right, it's my night off and I'm going for a long soak in the bath tonight, thanks so much for stopping by today,
Stampin' Hugs,
