Upcycling to make a Christmas Table Centrepiece using SU! Products. Week 12 in the 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes Series.

Hello and welcome to this, the 12th and final week in my 12 Weeks of Crafty Christmas Makes series. I have really enjoyed designing the projects for this series and making the video tutorials but mostly I hope you have used and enjoyed them as much as I have?
You can see all the other projects in this series HERE.
So, this week I wanted to use some of the Stampin' Up! products I had left after making all of my Christmas cards and make some decorations for my Christmas table.
I designed these right back around Week 2 of this series but just like last weeks project this kept getting pushed back to accommodate other projects that I thought you might find useful earlier in the series ;-)
Sadly I have several more projects that I haven't managed to squeeze in. Ah well, there's always next year.... Here's a closer look at the sides of the tins :-)
And with the faux plants, even I can't kill these! Lol!
And here is the  arrangement on the dining table with my Advent Tags from Week 3 in the background! These became Zoe's advent calendar this year, much to her delight :-)
OK, lets see the video where I share a few tips and tricks for making your own centrepiece...
And one final photo for you today, this takes in one of the honeycomb trees I have hanging from the pom pom trim that's strung up this year between the dining table lights :-)
I'll share some more of this on Instagram tomorrow ;-)
Well, I really hope you enjoyed this weeks tutorial? I'd love to see what you make for your Christmas table this year, you can add all your crafty your makes on my Facebook Group HERE.
This code is running 'till the end of December and don't forget there are some fab bargains in my SHOP right now too so take a look ;-)
Thanks so much for looking today,

Using Stampin' Up's Perfect Pines Christmas Card using the Spiderweb doilies as Snowflakes! with Video tutorial!

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing with you the second card from my Perfect Pines class I held last week.
For details of upcoming classes in 2016 please visit my Cardmaking Classes Page HERE. We'd love to see you at a class, we are a small friendly group and I run the same class (up to) three times each month so hopefully there is a day that suits everyone. Message me today to join in the fun!!
So, I went with a Kraft, White and Navy colourway and used the spiderweb doilies to make this stunning snowflake. We used the reverse of the snowflake and heat embossed with Iridescent Ice powder to get this look... It's much sparklier in real life ;-)
These trees were heat embossed in silver on White and Navy card then we washed over each with an aquapainter and navy ink, buffing to remove the excess ink from the silver.
This sentiment is from the set too, there's a lot of stamps in this set!
We popped the trees on dimensionals. The paper down the side is Season of Cheer again, the same pack as for yesterdays card.
and we added a cheeky quarter of a doily inside to decorate ;-)
OK, here's a little video sharing how to easily heat emboss these snowflakes and a few tips and different versions too, take a look...
And here are all the results. I personally felt that the snowflake with Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds v's the Iridescent Ice powdered snowflake were not so different that either versions would work equally well. I do love the gold and silver though! They really do pop, I will try my very best to make them into cards and share them with you before Christmas. I really hope you give them a try in the mean time!
and one more pic of the card to finish this evening.
This code runs right 'till the end of December :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Peaceful Pines by Stampin' Up! to make a Shaker Card for Christmas.

Hello,
How are your Christmas preparations going? We finally put up some of our Christmas decorations (you can see some on my Facebook page HERE) but I have been working loads of extra nights lately so am really behind on a lot of things I usually do in the evening like wrapping! And card writing!
Anyway, todays card is one of four I designed for a Perfect Pines class a few weeks ago. I had been dying to use the Perfect Pines stamps and matching dies and this class was the perfect excuse, so lets see the first card shall we?
I designed a shaker card to start this class with the poinsettia DSP from the Season of Cheer pack, which is now just £6.00 btw! and it's really lovely paper!! See...
(so sorry, my colours are a bit off for this card, hopefully you get the idea though)
I added cherry cobbler twine with a splash of gold sequin trim.
See how to secure your sequins to stop them unravelling HERE.
The sequins inside are from my stash including some beautiful Christmas themed ones my lovely friend Holly gave me last year, thanks Holly!
See My Shaker Card Video Tutorial HERE
The gold embossed tree serves a dual purpose of being both decorative and the sentiment too!
I finished this card with a few Home For Christmas Enamel Dots, (also in the sale at £3.19!)
and don't forget to use this hostess code on your orders to get a special extra from me in January :-)
More details HERE.
Thanks for looking today,
