Happy New Year and my SU! Downline Gifts for Christmas 2015

Hello,
Yes, I know I said I had finished with the Christmas posts for this year but I do still have one last post to share with you! I really wanted to show you the Christmas cards and gifts that I sent to my downline this year!
Happily for you whilst the cards are christmassy, the gifts I made were not ;-) I wanted the ladies to be able to use them all year so I used the Sprinkles Of Life stamps and punch for the gifts, but let's see the Christmas Cards I made first shall we?
I used "Wonderland" (again) in Navy and Lost Lagoon, adding a touch of the new Wink of Stella pen (I'm so happy that SU! are selling these now, they are fab!) to the trees for some sparkle...
 And here are the notebooks I decorated. I found these in IKEA of all places, they are super cute and will fit in most handbags (I thought). And the pages inside? They match the spots on the outside, how adorable!
And to finish I made Lost Lagoon envelopes (using the EPB), decorated them with  snowflakes and wrapped them with gold thread but I also heat embossed each persons name in gold for that extra special touch :-)
 Well, that's all from me for today and for this year!
What a fantastic year it's been here at Cards and a Cuppa HQ with lots of fun and sharing happening both on here and in person. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed the posts and ideas that I have shared as much as I have enjoyed designing and making them?? I'm truly looking forward to making many more in 2016.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year !!!

Another version of Easy Inlaid Embossed Cards - as seen in Tuesdays Video ;-)

Hello!
I have so much to share with you right now and so little time to do that! So, can I apologise for my blogging being a bit hit and miss right now? I promise I will try and get back on top of it by next week ;-)
So, I have another pair of cards and if you watched the video I shared on Tuesday you will have seen these being made! Don't they look just so different just by changing out the card colours? But mostly by swapping the Crumb Cake card for White?  Lets take a closer look...
This is the same Season of Cheer DSP as Tuesdays card
and the same sentiment set - Cozy Christmas, stamped using Smoky Slate here
 and some silver cord just finishes it off nicely!
 For this card I changed the direction of the DSP to show the other pattern and have yet another different looking card...
Using the Softly Falling folder to emboss
 And another sentiment but still from the same Cozy Christmas Stamp set
 and a side view to finish this card.
and finally together to finish today :-)
Here's this months hostess code for freebies from me to say thanks to you for ordering from me! Please use this code with orders over £25 and under £150 (before post) :-) More info HERE.
OK, short and sweet tonight 'cause it's tea time now and then I'm off to work again!
Thanks so much for looking in today,

Easy Inlaid Embossing Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up! Products.

Hello and welcome to this weeks Tuesday Video Tutorial!
I have a super cute card today using just one piece of paper to make two fab cards.
Then, using the inlay emboss technique, we make it pop!
So, lets see the cards first.
We started with a Night of Navy card base with Old Olive Layer and finally a Crumb Cake and Season Of Cheer DSP topper...
I used the Cozy Christmas stamps for the sentiments.
and the Softly Falling Folder to emboss.
OK, it's time to share the video with my tips and tricks to make these cards :-)
So, I hope you liked the video and if you watched it all you'll have seen tomorrows cards too ;-)
And the measurements again, as promised in the video.
*In brackets: colours used in the video*
Navy (Garden Green*) Card Base : 10.5cm x 14.8cm (folded size)
Old Olive (Soft Sky*) layer: 10cm x 14.3cm
Crumb Cake (White*) layer: 9.5cm x 13.8cm
Designer Series Paper: 9.5cm x 13.8cm
~~~
Before I go just to let you know I have a new hostess code for December. If you wish to use this for orders between £25 and £149 (before post) I will be sending out thank you gifts to everyone who orders using it after the end of December :-) Thank you for your support.
Thanks as ever for looking today,
CAS Christmas Card using Stampin Up's Holly Jolly stamps and Gold Glitter!
Hello there,
So, I'm back today with another CAS card for you using the fab Holly Jolly stamp set again. This fab set can be purchase as a bundle for an extra 15% off with the gorgeous matching dies (not used here but I have used them a ton this Christmas! You can see many more ideas with this bundle HERE) but the stamps on their own are just great and only £18.00 in clear mount.
 This time I used the giant snowflake and some of the words in this fab set to make this card in Gold and Cherry Cobbler giving it a totally different look to the card I shared with you last FRIDAY...
 To make this glittery snowflake I stamped the snowflake using Versamark, sprinkled it with Heat and Stick powder and melting. Cover the melted powder in gold glitter and tap off excess before giving it a last little blast with the heat gun, just to set the glitter!
TIP: Use your embossing buddy for this card, it not only stops the heat and stick powder sticking where you don't want it but a lot of the glitter too!
Hopefully that makes sense but if you want me to do a little video please let me know :-)
 These sentiments are in the set too, I simply stamped them on spare white card, trimmed then inked the edges with a matching marker.
There's a VIDEO HERE sharing how to do this :-)
 I added dimensionals under "Jollly" and glued the rest flat for this CAS look.
 And one more photo to finish this evening :-)
Thanks for looking this evening.
I've closed this months online order code now, thanks to everyone for your support.
I'll be back tomorrow with a new code for December and a new Video Tutorial too so do pop back then ;-)
