Christmas Magic Watercoloured Bells Christmas Card.

 Hello!
So, I have been flat out busy the last few days with work, putting up our Christmas Decorations, some last minute shopping today and of course wrapping! But I'm hoping to get back in my craft room before Christmas for a little de-stress ;-) I do hope your Christmas preparations are coming along nicely too?
I have a pretty card to share with you today uses the Christmas Magic stamp set. This set has now sold out in clear mount but is still available in wood mount in my shop.
I decided to stamp the bell from the set and heat embossed them in white onto watercolour paper to make this card....
TIP: Stamp just a couple of the bells at a time, heat emboss then stamp some more until the paper is covered.
I love this sentiment in a banner from the Stitched with Cheer stamp set which conveniently works perfectly with the Bunch of Banners Framelits.
I've layered up here with Mint striped and Silver* ribbon across the centre of the card.
*on offer at the moment
I love how the bells look shiny with the stamp detail.
You may have seen this card in Instagram already and there I shared that I think this is (at least one of) my favourite card the festive season, what do you think???

Thanks so much for looking today, Stampin' Hugs,

Two Holly Berry Happiness Wreath Cards with tips.

Hello there,
Today I used Holly Berry Happiness to make a duo of wreath cards. Now, we made these cards at my All Day Christmas Class but I have put off blogging these cards as I was going to make a video tutorial but I have simply run out of time and well, it's a bit late now really! So, instead I'll talk you through my tips for making this card as I go!
Here are both the cards together to start today, one with a white base and one with a crumb cake base...
The crumb cake version gives a more rustic effect and this paper is just £4.50 right now in the Year End Closeout for 48 sheets! Love it!
TIP 1: To create this wreath I used the second largest circles thinlits die as a guide, simply draw around the inside of the die using a pencil.
Remember these brilliant, closely layered circle dies are on offer at just £25.60 'till 3rd January!!
I used the holly leaf outline stamp first to stamp around the circle.
TIP 2: Start at the top and work your way around the circle, this makes positioning the second, solid leaves stamp much easier.
TIP 3: See here I added a tiny mark with a sharpie at each end so it was easier to position on the pencil line.
And the white version, this gives a crisper look, I think...
Sentiment is Tin of Tags, heat embossed in gold fora little extra pizzazz!
And both together to finish today.
Well, that's all from me for today, I'll be back soon with another Christmas card, we are  getting down to the last few now that I have left to share :-)

'till then, thanks for looking!

Hang Your Stocking by SU! to make Sparkly Cards!

Hello!
I hope you are well? I am in the middle of decorating here, no, not for Christmas but I (perhaps foolishly) decided I was going to re-decorate the lounge this week. Hubby is working away and I have been at work too so it's been a bit of a busy few days here!
Anyway, I am back with more Hang Your Stocking cards* today to share with you using plenty of Glimmer Paper, take a look...
*see the other cards in this series HERE*
So, this is the pink pirouette and smoky slate version, the little 'snow' effect is made using two of the small stamps from the set and versamark on the slate card.
TIP: To adhere your fine stocking die cuts use a sponge dipped in tombow on a silicone mat to coat the back of the die cut.
And this one is in more traditional colours but just as pretty! The snow on here is stamped using crumb cake ink as versamark doesn't show up on vanilla and white card.
I love the smooth look of the foil sentiment combined with the glimmer of the stockings.
And both together to finish today!
I hope you've enjoyed today's cards? I'll be back tomorrow with more, but for now, thanks for looking!
