Jar of Love and Large Letter Framelits for a Wedding Card.

Hi there,
I'm back again! That's three days in a row, get me! lol.
I have another wedding card today and, yet again, I used the Large Letter framelits. The brief was blues, the same as the happy couples invite, and lots of flowers.
So, let's see today's wedding card in all it's finest...
To make this card start with thick white card and ensure its at least as long as your card (here it was 21cm).
TIP: If you stamp on card that is longer than you will need you can avoid any ooops' you may have made stamping, when you die cut the letters.
Lay one of the letters on the card piece and measure where you want the stamping to come up to, mark a line, lightly, in pencil. Stamp below the line using the small flowers and stems from Jar of Love...
...erase the line and then die cut "Mr & Mrs" using the Large Letter framelits. I love these dies for making any card a truly personal card. Adhere to the card front with foam strips or dimensionals.
TIP: Use a ruler (or straight edge) to butt the letters up to, when adhering, to ensure they are perfectly straight.
I tied a double strand of navy twine (retired) and silver thread around, under the letters.
I'm not going to lie, I found this super tricky and its not something I will be doing again in a hurry, lol. It does look pretty though.
I also decorated the top of a card box to match and added folded tissue paper. I think a special, personalised card like this can be part of your gift, as I'll share with another card in the next few days ;-)
And one final photo for today!
Well, that's it for today! I hope you are enjoying all these Large Letter Framelits cards I'm sharing because I have at least one (maybe two) more in the next few days???
Anyway, that's all for today, back soon with more..

Pretty Card using Floral Phrases Stamps by SU!

Hello!
I have a pretty card to share with you today that I made some time ago but haven't gotten around to share with you here yet, until now, of course! I used the Floral Phrases stamp set in a Rose Red and Navy colour combo to make this card....
I love the textured effect this floral image has, it's like it's been hand painted.
Of course this card doesn't use the dies that are available as a bundle, which if you purchase together saves you 10% ;-)
Well, short and sweet from me today ;-) I'm off to finish decluttering the linen cupboard - who knew I was such a compulsive purchaser and then hoarder of single fitted sheets?? :-D
Thanks for looking today,

SU! Floral Boutique DSP is on Offer this October!

Hello!
Today is our youngest's birthday and I made him a fun card to celebrate. I will take photos later today and share that with you but you can get a sneak peek on my Instagram or Facebook pages ;-)
I have a simple but elegant card today to share with you showcasing the gorgeous Floral Boutique DSP teamed with a sentiment from the stamp set...
I used the oval nesting dies to cut the sentiment out.
TIP: I found it easier to die cut this oval first, then stamp with the sentiment, embossed here in silver.
Remember this DSP is included in the 4 for 3 offer this month...
I love the Kraft, Navy and White colour combo of this card, add a little navy twine and the paper does all the work!

Using Floral Phrases by Stampin' Up! to make a Pink Ombré Card

Hello!
Today's card uses the Floral Phrases stamp set but I wanted to share a totally different look for this stamp set and I think I have done that with this card, what do you think....
I stamped the strip stamp from the set  onto watercolour paper in every pink ink I had, starting at the bottom with Watermelon Wonder and finishing in Pink Pirouette*. After I had stamped, I spritzed the whole panel with water using my stampin' spritzer to get this washed/watercoloured look.
*all inks used are listed in order in the supplies at the end of the post
I completed the card by adding the watercoloured panel to a sahara sand card base, a great neutral, and finished by adding a little blushing bride bakers twine.
So, that's all from me for today, hope you enjoyed the card and thanks for stopping by!
